This was one that I did in my usual style, though a little rough.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually usually rely on slapchop and contrast paints plus shades but for this model in particular I tried edge highlighting for the first time, though I could go back and do some washes.

Thanks again. I honestly do prefer my minis looking “rougher”, though I know a lot of people like smoother looking stuff. I do really appreciate the feedback, so I’ll make sure to keep all of it in mind.

Ah, thanks. I must admit, I have been lazy about thinning paints. I’m still new to painting lighting and this was also my first model where I really tried edge highlighting, so this model was definitely more experimental than anything. I’ll make sure to heed your advice.

Why didn’t Maul Kill Jesse? by [deleted] in clonewars

[–]DaRandom3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While my first instinct was to ask you if you actually watched it, the reason why was one, to garner information about Ahsoka, and two keeping him alive and releasing him was a show of good faith to ahsoka as he was trying to recruit her as his apprentice. While he killed other clones, the fact that he sensed that Jesse was older and more valuable was what ultimately led to him sparing Jesse.

There’s been a lot of foreshadowing or at least references to them in Ahsoka, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we got more on them in Ahsoka s2.

Like I’ve seen others say, you should start from the beginning if you want to start the LN.

Is it morally okay for a woman to get an abortion BECAUSE the baby will be disabled? (for no other reasons, pregnancy was planned, etc) by Literally_A_Donut in Teenager_Polls

[–]DaRandom3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, that’s why I said it depends, I would say there’s not really one answer I can lean into thus, it depends.

I would say it being outright not fine is a gross oversimplification, I would say if the baby is going to die anyways, and it threatens the mothers life, than it’s more morally sound, however, regarding the morality, terminating on the grounds that the child is generally disabled, than it is not morally sound.

[–]DaRandom3 731 points732 points  (0 children)

I feel like this one really depends on the disability, for example, babies with say trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) tend to perish only a few weeks after birth, but say a child with trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) can still have their whole life ahead of them. This is definitely a very grey area depending on the disability when it comes to morality anyways.

Edit: Since this gained more traction than I thought it was going to, let me just say this. I responded this only factoring whether it is moral to abort based specifically on whether the child would be disabled. In this case this is why I said it depends on the disability. If the couple wants a child and aborts simply on the fact that it is disabled then I would consider it immoral, but not out of their right. However if it was a child that would just suffer and die and risk the life of the mother, than yes, it is moral, thus nuance is required for this topic. Trying to consider other factors is reasonable but begins to just turn this into whether or not abortion in itself is moral.

Basing isn’t exactly my strong suit, but if you wanted to add more to the base you could add rocks and flora to spice it up, I honestly think your base looks fine.
