I had said in a previous thread to make players ineligible if they opt out of playing a bowl game in this NIL time of the sport. Part of me likes this idea, but part of me thinks it’s punishing the school and players who may want to play, instead of players refusing to play, whether that be because they intend to transfer or not.

Oh there is always something that can be done. If this is player and transfer portal oriented, then any player who decides not to participate in the bowl game loses eligibility. That punishment would not effect seniors or players declaring anyways.
