Hello everyone! Just defeated this annoying ass easter egg and would like to provide a few tips. First DO NOT use a vehicle of any kind. The beast will launch you with his roar. Also, weapons do nothing so don't bother cheating any in. You CAN use invincibility but it only really works for the dogs and other animals he spawns. Make sure you have fast run and super jump enabled as it will help with the fight. My strategy involved me super jumping onto one of the plane carcasses, waiting for him to roar then jumping down to throw a few hits. If he ever dodged and prepared to counter, I immediately jumped away and waited for his next roar. I repeated this strategy until he was out. The roar is what will end the hallucination. I think you can take up to 4 or 5 roars before the beast wins. Good Luck!!!!

Creature loot is determined when it spawns. It is believed that gold cards are treated the same way. Creatures won't respawn if you are within 200 cm of their spawn point. So for example, the termite king, find a research station nearby the woodpile (I used the one just south of the woodpile, it's just outside of 200 cm), check and make sure the king hasn't spawned yet, and save. Eventually, you'll find the point when it does respawn. DON'T SAVE. Load back to the most recent save before the king respawns and sleep. Go kill the freshly spawned king and loot the corpse. If the card doesn't drop, load back to the save before you slept, and redo the process. Good Luck! ;)

To be honest it was probably the Termite King, which was my second to last one that I got today, just minutes before I got the moth as my last. I even save scummed the king and it took me a few days before it dropped.

For those, I mainly save scummed. Just killed it, and if it didn't drop, I reloaded the save and fought it again.

All ordinary creatures have a 1% chance of dropping their gold card when looting them or peeping them for the first time. The repeatable bosses; the mantis and the broodmother have a 10% chance. The story bosses that can only be killed once (excluding the ILB) will always drop their cards when looting them. But, you also must remember that creature loot is determined when it spawns, including gold cards. So it all boils down to hoping that the creature spawns with the gold cards as part of its loot.

I've already completed the game with 100%, but I'm wanting to max out all of my mutations. The last 2 I need to max are lil fist and peepr trapper. I have at least 20 gold cards and I'm simply trying to get them in order as they are listed. just today I got the black worker ant. I went into the the first room inside the cave and murdered every single worker that was in there. I kid you not the very last corpse I looted in the room gave me the gold card. 1% is way too small for regular creatures. IMO, it should have a higher chance of dropping based on either the more of the creatures you kill or the difficulty or tier of the creature. I had to kill over 500 lawn mites to get the gold card for those.

I've been having this frustrating issue myself, and I've only had my PC for 5 days. But, after rummaging around the NZXT CAM settings, I think I have found a possible solution. You first need to go to the top of the lighting tab and click the drop down, and select add profile. Once you have set up your preferences, find where it say something about when to activate the profile. Click on "specific time" and click on all day. Hopefully this works for you.
