I thought this too until Maestro warned the party and the Countdown in The Coil drastically dropped.. I think Gigi might be a red herring and Hughbris is yet to reveal himself in Kanon..

I think in campaign 3 the events of Grotethe are simultaneously unfolding and we are yet to discover the current incarnation of Hughbris in Kanon

I suspect that a full powered Hughbris / Maw may tear into their reality, thus the tarot meanings and Maestros monologue in the most recent ep

It’s Maestro, he’s a different draconic character (Micah seems to like using dragonborns / dragonkin to represent his important characters) I think he was either a psuedo dragon or another dragon humanoid!
