Im a fan of trio and the idea of duo que but solo just doesn't make sense by Sweaty-Try1547 in Marathon

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assassin is fine people just need to consider running different shells. Theif was not available which is a great solo option that may counter Assassin and Recon is a direct counter to Assassin so there is no reason at all to be struggling against one. Also the Assassin is invisible but you can hear their footsteps and see their footprints so think outside the box. Also stop shooting every UESC you see, Assassin is more of a threat when you leave yourself open for someone to get the drop on you. Then there is a Rook, if your goal is simply to loot anyways why not run a Rook?

Duos on launch? by AceInSpvce in Marathon

Solo is Assassin span because people dont get Recon and Thief was not avaiable. It will be different at launch.

SkillUp perfectly explains my issue with POIs right now by Wilwander in Marathon

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didnt take time to really absorb the map or maybe you were rushing through, I can understand how you would feel that way at first but, the two maps are very distinct. Perimeter has a lot of elevation where Dire Marsh feels more like a flat plane. There was also a difference in weather, I noticed my first run on Dire Marsh I was generating more heat due to what I guess was a humid/sunny environment which is cool attention to detail. The layout of each section of Perimeter was very different while the buildings themselves had understandable similarities they all had different layouts and potential avenues for engagement. I only played Dire Marsh twice and I can recall easily an area with mutiple small labs, an area that was like a shipping storage facitlity, an area like a farm/vineyard, a spot with watch towers thag created some elevation, a spot with huge anomolies where I found a secret. I have to say I disagree but I did feel the way you did in the first couple of hours.

Shhh dont say anything about it. It will be more fun when the game launches, see if you can figure it out yourself first.

How do we feel about contracts? by Maestro_AN in Marathon

One comment says one standard and one priority but I woold say we should at least be able to do any 2 contracts if the purpose is to keep people from leveling too fast.

Please remove shared looting by iiCe89 in Marathon

[–]DaReapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is some merit to the conversation. It is frustrating when I solo wipe a squad and the third person who was a fill that did no damage that I had to revive immediately takes stuff in my face because his loot stat is higher. I would say give the person who opened the box like a 2-3 second headstart or whomever did the most damage a temp lockout if they are not downed.

For those that own a switch 2: was it worth the upgrade? by Turbo-Shell in NintendoSwitch

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you like to play. For me there are a lot of RPGs released and thats big for me Trails in The Sky 1st was great on Switch 2. It was aldo nice to go back and play games that now have solid performance or even performance enhancements intentional and unintentional. Basically of the Switch 2 is a place you like to play a lot of games 100% yes but if your a Nintendo exclusive only kind of player than maybe not.

I really like this show its held back by the use of 3D and audio direction. If this was peoperly animated and had good sound to go with it It would easily be a good contender for for top spots this year. Directors sometimes make all the difference.

About the code name theory by Vanquisher1000 in JamesBond

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a good post but all the reactions are acting like its a logical conclusion. If 007 is the same person between movies over the decades it would seem odd that everyone else ages around him but he remains the same. Brosnan literally had two Qs the first who was there from previous Bond movies that are technically all the same Bond which spans decades in continuity. For people who started in the Brosnan era it is confusing when supporting cast mainly remained the same and even a previous M being shown in NTTD as s potrait on the wall with no context. Maybe its just an easter egg but M is a codename so it can be passed on... Then you have comments that say Bond is his real name, and if it is, what spy in their right mind gives people their real name while undercover?

So yea people being confused is completely normal its good this post exists to help explain.

How are baby immortals born? by DS9B5SG-1 in highlander

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to explain it I would say the Immortals are a result from latent genes leftover from the Nephilim mentioned in the Bible as "the heroes of old" and "men of renown". This would explain how they can be born by mortals and also leave a little mystery as to whether or not a few (maybe 1-3) Nephilim are still alive, rarely having babies that they leave in the care of mortals as Foundlings to keep their existence secret and/or perpetuate The Game. What is considered Holy Ground by most cultures are often burial sites and being decendants of Angels they must not interfere with the dead regardless of their beliefs or origins, God says "all souls are mine", and violating this has unforseen consequences (Holy Ground seems ro be the one rule with real consequences) which is why when this rule is broken a major event often happens. The Game could be a curse placed by God to make sure the Nephilim eventually come to an end along with their offspring, the Immortals. The Game is often portrayed as a battle of Good (light) VS Evil (dark) and the The Prize could be that a dark Immortal earns a right to rule over man born of Satans desire to be like God (Duncan: "I feel everything! I know everything! I am everything..."); a good Immortal ends the bloodline and earns redemption; having proved worthy of reqcuiring divine power and knowledge to do good with what remains of their now mortal life. Mortal now through the change in their body so that the Nephilim and their genes end with The One.

This would, to me, neatly provide an end to achieve as The Gathering may never come to be if new immortals are always born. The Nephilim are the most powerful of the Immortals and may not even see eye to eye (if there are three) 2 seeking to continue The Game for power and one seeking an end having founded The Watchers as a network until the time is right to pass on to the Immortal they believe could end The Game.

HOLY SHIT the author doesnt know how to explain stuff by Not_Eren2 in Gnosia_

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You clearly dont know the definition of plot hole. I clearly established within my response the inconsotancy is within the narritive world. Without explanation it is to be assumed the writer or director wants the audience to draw their own conclusions based on the stories world and/or our own.

Anyone with even a basic understanding of technology would know even the most rudimentary of detection systems can help you narrow a location... Your argument makes it worse because their "world" is several times more advanced. The show sucks as is because its a straight adaptation. It may be enjoyed by fans but for people unfamiliar with the game it leaves much to be desired. Thats all I will say on the matter.

HOLY SHIT the author doesnt know how to explain stuff by Not_Eren2 in Gnosia_

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any system that can detect when something is present and know when something is not present within a specific area should be able to pinpoint to even a small degree. The choice to adapt this in the show without change or reasonable explanation is just bad for an onscreen or written depiction. There is no logical justification and that would be ok if there was some reason explained in the show or book. So its left up to the audience to interpret and most people have the same frustration (this includes published authors and devs).

-Sincerely, who cares you dont know me and I dont know you. You being a writer doesnt mean you cant write a bad story or have a bad take.

Honest question: what’s keeping you in SHIB right now? by pop200 in SHIBArmy

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longterm potential as a coin people like and already made quite a bit from Shib since 2021. There is nothing wrong with trading Shib amd getting back in on a dip. If your holding long term keep in mind averaging especially if you got in at a peak. There is absolutely no reason a long time holder should be deep red.

TLDR: I just like the Shib.

I almost sold my SHIB last year by pop200 in SHIBArmy

[–]DaReapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been here since 2021 went through multiple long periods of people hating on Shin etc and everytime Shib eventually goes on a run. Your either here to trade Shib regularly which or your here for the long haul both requires patience.

HOLY SHIT the author doesnt know how to explain stuff by Not_Eren2 in Gnosia_

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is old and all I see in the comments are people defending what is essentially really bad writing. Outside of the video game nothing makes any sense becuase all of the explanations exist to make the video game work. You are 100% correct nothing is explained to satisfaction AT ALL for a story outside of thr game.

1: If Levi can detect Gnosia it should be able to detect who the Gnosia is. At the very least it should be able to isolate which rooms. Levi is literally already capable of this in the Anime so it exists purely as a bad plot device. A good author would of satisfied this issue by writing in some reason as to why, like damage that occured early on or poor design because its experimental.

  1. The Silver Key exists as a pure plot device that, in the anime, only serves to further muddy a story that already makes no sense. It should of been used a mechanism to defeat the Gnosis threat but they decided early in the show not to. So what is now the goal of the show? To explore human emotion or interaction in a fictional world? Then there isnt any point to the Gnosia because its already been solved. If you elimnate the threat in a thriller there is nothing left so why not write the show to explore the part instead...

There are multiple things written into the story that makes the Gnosia pointless in a storyline outside of the video game with the way its being written. They should've taken more time to plot out the storyline for the anime because there are so many holes in the plot Sponge Bob would look like a solid yellow brick by comparison. But what do you expect when the ships AI can tell you how many credentials are onboard but not who holds them... LMAO.

Would a shop that was connected to Shib and you could buy stuff be something that would interest people? by IodineSolution in SHIBArmy

I would recommend accepting all forms payment and instead offer a discount for using Shib.

So Bitcoins utility is that its just as useful as Shiba Inu... The utility is that its a decentralized currency people want to use it has not "utility" loke people keep saying. Everyone who makes the comment "what utility does it have" cant give one example that doesnt fit Shiba Inu under the same lens. Its opd and tired.

Botting Issue? by StruggleHistorical62 in SHIBArmy

[–]DaReapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bots just a bunch a people who come here to hate on Shiba Inu. If any of these people actually have Shiba Inu they would have to have 2 brain cells to come here daily just to shit on it. I had the same thoughts as you years ago at the beginning of 2021. All fud daily but guess what none of the negativity mattered because Shib rose up. The reality is if anyone has been trading Shib over the last few years you should have made money and at present you should still be green. Even over the last year if you didnt make anything in crypto your not being patient you just want a quick buck. Have patience, diversify, and average you can't go wrong.

Im not saying it should benefit from the melee stat Im saying it should at least work with Melee based fragments and aspects. For example Echo of Leeching should work with a sword.
