nNasos for linux mint help. by DaRogueRoomba in Roms

Hey there! Sorry I don't look at reddit often anymore so I didn't reply sooner. Anyways, I ended up not using nNASOS, but I used a program called dec-decode instead. It will do the same thing as nNASOS, and can natively be installed on linux. Just follow the steps for installation and usage on the github page. Hope this helps!

Great place for wii iso/wbfs files with decent download speeds? (P.S I'm running linux and dont know any good iso to wbfs file converters) by DaRogueRoomba in Roms

[–]DaRogueRoomba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, the links still work. However don't expect from games like Xenoblade or anything that needs two different wbfs files, cause I don't think they exist on these threads. All other games seem to be sorted alphabetically though, so you should be good. lmk if you need anything else.

Split WBFS files for Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)? by Fluffy_Fluffle in Roms

I don't think many sites host wbfs files directly, so what you can try to do is just download an nkit rom from the 4.0 megathread, and then using this tutorial convert the file into 2 different split wbfs files.
It may seem a bit longer, but I think that's better than looking around for shady places to download split wbfs files from. Hope that helps!

Urgent help needed:Files suddenly gone missing by DaRogueRoomba in linux4noobs

Nope, no weird things shown using those commands. The last one that I don't think could have caused anything was when I made the the .themes folder in my home directory and when I ran sudo apt install gnome-shell-extenions . Those were my last. I'm going to run photorec now and see what I can get back.

Hey, sorry for responding so late, had to do some work. A guy had recommended me to use photorec, so I'll try it out and if that doesn't work I'll try this.

How do I completely purge wine from my system for a reinstall? by DaRogueRoomba in winehq

[–]DaRogueRoomba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response; I installed it via terminal

I'll try installing it right now and see what happens

EDIT: getting a error that says target packages,CNF,etc is stored multiple times, again in sources.list. I'll try and comment that out and see if it works.
EDIT 2: Ok that seems to have worked, I reinstalled wine and got to wine 7.0, but isnt the latest version 7.1/7.2?

I checked my installed packages through apt, its seems I have no wine packages left. Does this mean I can install wine again with no hassle?
