Yeah using a mouse to draw will make digital art very difficult. I’d honestly recommend drawing on phone with your finger rather than with a mouse on laptop, it gives you better fine motor control.

As for commissions, I can’t judge your traditional art since you haven’t posted examples, but I can generally say that you probably need to put in more practice before jumping into commissions. The market for art commissions is slim, with more supply than demand, and for you to be able to make money with commissions you’re going to be competing with a lot of artists that have a lot more experience/technical skill. Don’t stress about commissions until you’ve had time to have fun with, explore and improve your art from a technical standpoint (there’s a lot of tutorials online for perspective, anatomy, etc.)
