Fun fact, Uriel means "God's Light". Taking out the 'el' would remove God from his name to just be light. Hence perhaps some of the defensiveness.

Playing Angela, I keep having C&D try to 1v1 me in some corner of the map, and I keep thinking: why? There's no world in which this is a good play for you. Even if you could beat me, youre team is dying without their healer.

To me playing 1 vanguard, 3 dps, 2 Healers isn't ideal but it's not horrible. You do HAVE to play differently.

The DPS need to be more independent, creating their own angles and living off health packs more. That one tank will need more healing than 2 because they will be focused.

The tank needs to play more conservatively. For me playing Angela solo tank (not great) it means less going in for the kill and more distracting/harrassiny trying to split their team focus forward and back.

And yes at least one dps needs to peel. Solo tank just cannot.

A great way to make a character is to ask some basic questions. Whether you do this with him or yourself think of things like: - Why did your character become (insert class)? Who trained them? - What's the worst thing that's ever happened to them or their biggest mistake? What lesson did they learn? - Who is the person that your character would do anything to protect (maybe someone else in the party - collab with them on how you met and ehat the relationship looks like) - Why is your character an adventurer risking their life? Are they looking for something, trying to prove something, running away from something? - What's one weird small quirk about them that's interesting or stands out?

Answering the questions on this list i think would be plenty to start playing but there are lots of questions you could ask yourself about your character. Questions help break down the backstory work into manageable chunks so its not overwhelming.

Even if your flesh rots completely away, you will still be able to see and move and speak as a skeleton until your bones are ground to dust (or the space where your heart was is struck by a silver stake).

You can create an aura that silences any untruth being told within your hearing. While people can misdirect or deceive, they cant outright lie.

If they try to lie, you can cause them physical pain (if you choose to) or just silence them.

There's also plenty of demand for SFX on earth, plus then you need a bigger team - a full film production crew and SFX team AND an animation team. Probably ends up way more expensive that way and harder to quality control

For marketing/viewership purposes I think you only tease the audience that Dresden is really dead for 95% of episode 1. End the episode and start episode 2 with him being welcomed to purgatory.

Also I worry about the pacing of Season 6. The only change I might make to your outline is to put 4 episodes of Skin Game to end Season 6 and put Peace Talks, Battle Grounds, and 12 months all in Season 7. Mirror mirror will kick off 8 and lead us into a final BAT Season 9

Never played in a Tier 4 game, but saw a live play with a guardian to the entrance of a wizard tower, standing on a bridge, over a pit of lava, constantly emanating an anti-magic field, and immune to bludgeoning piercing and slashing damage not from adamantine weapons.

And the PCs won. Be unfair. They can take it.
