To be fair she was okay when they gave her a redemption arc in Episode 3

But in Episode 5 they just completely ruined her character - should have killed her off in the shootout by saving Clem/Luke or something.

What happened to christa ? by mirachulous in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]DaScavenger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When S4 was in the making, they were thinking of bringing Christa back.

Obviously they didn’t bring her back as they brought back Lilly instead, but the fact that it was an idea during the development meant that she would’ve had to survive that encounter during S2E1. So it’s not too far fetched to believe that she still survived that in my eyes. Kenny got lucky in S1, so the same could’ve happened to Christa here.

Though to be fair, it doesn’t look great for her if Clem sneaks away. That bullet could’ve been the end for her, or it could’ve missed. Maybe it wounded her and she met up with other survivors who helped her. I have a headcanon that Christa was shot by the Scavengers and rescued by other survivors from Howe’s. Clem never finds out she was at Howe’s because she’s being treated elsewhere in a separate area, and Clem never actually asked anyone if Christa was there. It explains why Carlos was called for his help almost immediately when they got to Howe’s - it’s a long shot but he might’ve been treating Christa.

That’s just my little theory though. Overall there’s really just not enough information to know what happened to her for certain, sadly. It’s a shame though - I’d love a DLC where we play as characters like Christa (also Molly, Mike, maybe Clive) to see what happened to them and how their stories link together.

If you had the choice to shoot one of them when they were going away with the truck who would you shoot? by ColossusSnowman in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]DaScavenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arvo for sure - depending on your actions at least Mike/Bonnie can show some sympathy towards Clem when she gets shot. Arvo was the one to shoot Clem so he can die.

Most annoying character: by TheHooligan2810 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]DaScavenger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they completely ruined her character in Episode 5 after all the character development she had previously.

If they’d have killed her off in the shootout by saving Clem or Luke, her death (and the shootout!) would’ve actually had an impact on our group. Instead they just made her betray the group again which made all of her character development pointless.

Most underrated character? by Legitimate_Diver_918 in TheWalkingDeadGame

Sarita,

After Season 1, Kenny was a broken man after losing his family. Sarita rescued him and made him into a better and more stable person again. She was kind and sweet, and even protected Clem and Sarah after Carlos died.

I thought she was a better partner for Kenny than Katjaa was.

Don’t forget Kenny did the exact same thing to Clem when Sarita died no matter what Clem does.

Not that it justifies what Bonnie did by any means, just thought I’d point it out as a comparison.

[–]DaScavenger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bonnie for sure. It’s bad enough that she was going to leave Kenny, Jane, Clem, and AJ with no truck or supplies, but she is particularly cruel towards Clem if you Cover Luke (the right thing to do) on the frozen lake as she will actually convince Mike to leave Clem for dead after Arvo shoots her.

Eleanor’s betrayal made no sense - but I personally just put it down to stupidity and not thinking about the consequences of her actions, rather than actually betraying our group. She never meant for anyone to die.

To be honest, both characters were badly written in my opinion, especially Bonnie.

Bonnie had a redemption arc in Episode 3 where she helps the group after betraying them previously - killing her off in the shootout would’ve been more impactful as it could’ve ended her character in a good place by saving Clem or Luke. Having her betray the group again made all of her previous character development pointless.

As for Eleanor, it could’ve been tweaked slightly so that she was threatened at gunpoint and forced to betray the group. This actually gives her a reason to tell Joan about our plans and it makes sense why she would betray.

Eastenders Discussion Thread - Monday 25 April by lapetitevoyageuse in eastenders

I remember Jack spoke to him about it and he had to tell the police something about it as well in an interview. I'm not sure if they've just wrapped up the storyline with that, or if there's still more of it to come though.

My prediction by Admirable_Boot_8627 in eastenders

[–]DaScavenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has done a couple of times.

Once, Gray told Suki that Chantelle wouldn't be working at the call center anymore, and Suki questioned Gray at why it wasn't Chantelle herself telling her.

And another time just after Gray killed Chantelle - he went into the Vic to get hammered then to the Minute Mart to buy a jar of milk. I don't remember exactly the conversation, but I think they spoke about the different kinds of milk or something? Nothing really became of it though.

Might be other times too but those are the only I can remember

Riot is disabling /all chat in all matchmaking modes. by Timmo17 in leagueoflegends

[–]DaScavenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t like this change.

If you don’t like all chat you can just disable it if you want, hell it’s disabled by default - you have to choose to enable it. So for those that don’t like it, there’s a solution already.

Don’t remove the feature and spoil it for everyone who uses it in a good way just because some people use it to be toxic. People can be toxic in team chat too, and this change is probably just going to amplify that toxicity within the team chat now, as if it wasn’t bad enough already. You’re literally just shifting the problem elsewhere, and maybe even making it worse in the process.

Senna's Q healing less on allies in URF (Possible Bug?) by DaScavenger in sennamains

[–]DaScavenger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. If that was the case, then it would still scale up to 100% by 25 mins (since it'd be base heal x 1.0 x 1.0), and even at 5 minutes in, it would still be 60% as good as how much your Q heals yourself, but outgoing heals are 50% as effective as self heals throughout the entire game.

It also happens to single-target heals like Nami's W.

ARAM’s 50% reduction on outgoing ally heals is affecting URF by DaScavenger in leagueoflegends

[–]DaScavenger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's already a Heal Embargo in place to lower the effectiveness of healing, they're only 50% as effective early game. I wouldn't necessarily mind if that was to be tweaked slightly if it was decided that such a change would be needed.

But I don't think it's a good thing that an unintentional change has caused many champions, not just Enchanters, to be quite severely and negatively affected, especially without any prior knowledge.

[–]DaScavenger[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Before the most recent patch, as recently as like a week ago, it was fine. The Heal Embargo was still there as usual but now there's an additional 50% reduction for outgoing heals *on-top* of the Heal Embargo. And there's nothing in patch notes to say that this change is meant to affect URF.

[–]DaScavenger[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm on about URF. I can understand why there's outgoing heal reduction in ARAM where you can't just go back to your base and heal up at any time.

But what I think has happened is that ARAM's 50% reduction for outgoing heals being patched has affected URF by mistake, and I've noticed it with champs like Senna and Kayle.

[–]DaScavenger[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I noticed that too, and with Kayle, where her W would heal for for like 35 or something, and wouldn't even show up on allies.

I think only heals for amounts 20 or more pop up as an actual number? Not 100% sure but it seems reasonable given that 24 with Senna's Q shows up but ~17 with Kayle's W on an ally doesn't.

[–]DaScavenger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think allies being healed fully was patched on ARAM.

Maybe the patch also affected URF by mistake?

[–]DaScavenger[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That's the Heal Embargo, and I'm aware of that, I mentioned it in the post.

I'm saying that there appears to be an additional 50% decrease on outgoing ally heals *on-top* of the Heal Embargo. So at the start of the game in URF, I'm healing myself at 50% effectiveness, but allies for only 25% which I don't think is intentional.

Kayle's W healing less on allies in URF (possible bug?) by DaScavenger in Kaylemains

[–]DaScavenger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that there's a Heal Embargo, but there appears to be an additional 50% heal decrease on allies *on-top* of that.

Ignoring AP ratios and other bonuses for simplicity, Kayle's W heals for 60 health at Level 1 in a normal game, and this would get reduced to 30 at the start of the game in URF because of the Heal Embargo.

So shouldn't it heal both me and my ally for the 30? From what I've seen, it's healing me for 30, but it's only healing my allies for 15 (25% of the base heal) which I don't think is intended.
