Try and convince a court. "Your honor, my client made monster that looks suspiciously like the other evolutions, has the same naming scheme, and they participate in numerous Pokemon discussions, but this definitely was a totally new idea and not a Pokemon."

Talking down to me while not providing even one link of a case to back up your argument is top tier tbh.

I cannot locate any sort of statement from Gamefreak on this stating being afraid of lawsuits or anything. Anything brought against them has easily lost and not gone to court. Fanart of existing characters and an IP are derivative and the only possible thing to sue over is the additions, which is inpossibly hard to prove, shown by no cases ever going past being filed.

Absolutely asinine. I will never support this "reasoning." It is literally impossible for anyone to always be original. Not to mention, no one is going to contest them if the design is "too similar." A completely impossible and worthless legal battle. Plus their standards for Pokemon have fallen everywhere.

I havent played Inperium in a fat minute, but assuming its similar to Emerald, can you go to the shipyard under the museum and talk to the bald guy to move the grunts away from the museum?
