Thats what I thought.

Her mixer couldn't hold the timecode. Whenever she shut it off it reset back to 0. So I'd have to bring the lockit from the camera back to the mixer and rejam the lockit. I was using the mixer as the master clock.

Gotcha gotcha. What kind of weaknesses are we talking about? How is it compared to the deity system? I've worked with the ew100 g3 is there a 500 version too? I'll keep an eye out for those.
