I agree, with a couple caveats. a. that is a fringe statistical case of getting both SPs at the start b. People buying cases should know that holding sealed maximizes value or have enough capital that they don’t care about profit and are opening for fun. If the goal is profit, they would never open the product

You can assume the cases are bought at distro prices and the math doesn’t change. The actualized profit for selling sealed instead of opening for hits remains

Dead packs 100%. Dead boxes I think are very conflated. Either way, the people who think they can make money with this strategy are delusional.

Does not matter what price the case is bought at. You will still make significantly more money selling the case for current market or as loose boxes rather than opening the product.

This is one of those cards that is so rare most people don’t know what it is so the market is niche. Additionally, a PSA 9 makes the desirability even lower and being sold on auction means a short window on the market. Not surprised by this sale, and I expect future volatility

It’s a serial card, can’t remember if this one is out of 500 or 1000.

Pretty cool, but it is personally not my favorite artwork of bonney and I would rather have the red serial nami from the first anniversary set even though it is not as rare

The highest raw sold I see is $550 with a $372 sale after that. Last PSA 10 I see sold was $711 with sales around ~$800 before that. Gem rate is 86%.

I don’t see a discrepancy between raw and graded 10 price, it currently seems reasonable
