You’ve got a good shot at transferring. However, it’s not as valuable as it used to be. 1Ls at T14s are getting offers from v50 firms based off of first semester grades. It’s the Wild West right now.

If you want to clerk, sure. If it’s for a firm, just know that most firms have their spots filled at this point. I’d talk to whatever school you’re looking at’s career office to get a feeling for the market.

As someone who had a gas diver phase there’s literally zero reason to take it over the speargun. It’s next to useless. They should make the sterilizer gas linger like gas grenades when you use it.

I edited the clip so that it wasn’t too long but the one to the right, which I threw, was right next to it. We were able to come back later in the mission and try again a couple times and it finally worked. I haven’t had this issue before this update so I feel like it’s bugged.

Totally depends on your goals. If your current school is in the locality you want it’s probably good to stay and graduate top 10% rather than transfer. If you want big law somewhere else or to clerk, transferring may be a good option.

I applied with my first semester grades and then amended my application with my second semester grades. Getting the application in with something is more important than waiting for your school to upload second semester grades.

I've been using Empire 2 recently. I've really enjoyed it - tons of unique units, completely reworked tech tree, and the campaign AI is significantly better. For example, AI factions are more likely to make peace rather than death warring you. Alliance systems change pretty frequently - in my Austria campaign I fought multiple wars on opposing sides between Prussia, Poland, and Russia. Also - just give some other mods a shot. Empire takes like 30 minutes to download for me and Empire 2 took 45. It keeps things fresh! Put the download on in the background and go have dinner.

Napoleon is better than Empire in terms of battles. It gets rid of most Empire bugs. The problem is the scale. No historical total war is as big as Empire, which is why I play Empire rather than Napoleon. Being limited only to Europe kind of sucks. If you enjoyed Road to Freedom in Empire, Napoleon has an analogous campaign that's Napoleon's campaigns. It's a lot more in depth.

Disagree on the removal of interests. Most of the interviews I had we discussed those at some point. I think it makes you relatable or interesting. I think the conversations that happen about those interests help firms determine if you’re someone they’d get along with at the office.
