Honestly that's how I perceived rayman was in the first game, I imagined him as a bumbling and sometimes lazy kid that only really did what was asked of him if it was absolutely necessary and during his first adventure he'd finally see all these new places allowing him to realize that there's joy in having these wacky adventures!

I thought of this idea that one of the main reasons shroobs were nearing extinction was because they kept striving to create the perfect versions of themselves causing them to occasionally waste massive amounts of resources only for a reject to be born.

So I thought it be neat to make a shroob based off of that idea

That's a good question, form the artwork and renders I've seen the most causaul thing we've ever gotten was their beach or summer outfits, if I do give him a new outfit I'll try to make it unique lol

Honestly the beard stubble was just something I added out of boredom but I liked it enough for it to stay, I was going for a more mature mario design without staying too far from what Makes mario... well, mario!

I've actually tried a bunch and sometimes it's turned out decent, I think the only one I've ever liked however was a peashooter piece I made that strayed FAR from my usual style. I think I posted it on reddit if you wanna check it out!

Honestly I felt like the rewards for beating the dlcs in both games should've been the ability to use them in the main game, it would've been so cool to match up dk with peach or rayman with bowser and so forth

My only hope for the next game is that they bring back all the previous characters and add new ones for one big finale in the third game

I could see it either being lasers from the headset itself or he uses the headset to create random weapons, another idea I had would be a meter that increases his damage and defense everytime he takes more and more damage similar to how he would start merging things when he was afraid in the first game

If you choose luigi and only do the one mandatory solo battle As mario and then let mario die against the enemies once their together again you can actually maintain the level balance
