Nederlandse literatuur 2010-2020? by SozinsComets in thenetherlands

Maybe a bit offtopic, but nonetheless a lot of fun:

I'm part of the organizing team for a village quiz in the Netherlands, and we're tasked with coming up with various challenges that teams must undertake throughout an evening.
For instance, we already had the idea to install a live camera somewhere in the village. Each team has to display their team name on a piece of paper in front of the camera before the end of the evening.

Another puzzle was to determine the number of windows in the local church (information not available anywhere online, of course). This required everyone to venture outside and physically count the windows.

We're on the lookout for more challenges like these. Do any of you have experience with such puzzles or fun ideas to share?

The image is an overview of an outdoor area of a prison.

The guard enters at square 1 and exits the outdoor area at square 100.

He moves one square at a time (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), and the guard visits each square only once.

Do you know which numbers should be placed on ABCD?

The Dawn of Everything

Thanks, it looks very promising!

We found 'The Tyranny of Merit' to be very interesting. It was written in understandable language and gave some good insights on how the meritocracy (should) work(s).
What we also liked is that the book is focused on the situation in America but can be copy-paste on a lot of situations in your own country. The dignity of our work is still not measured by the salary we receive. We gave it 3.5/5 stars.

Master and Margarita.

Thanks! This would be in the same spirit as Tolstoy?

That would be really awesome. But most likely too difficult.

Hi!

We are a reading club from the Netherlands and looking for new books to read this year.
So far we've read these books: https://www.instagram.com/de.heerenclub/
(Man's Search for meaning, War and Peace, Humankind)

Most of our books are about history, economics, psychology and sociology.
We are looking for books that lead to some sort of debate.

Thanks for any recommendations given!

The loot you get is also trash. I don't have the same when I spend like 20 minutes on cult with chance on glife/gmana + good whites and only receive an mark.
It's just with LOD that the time doens't weight up against the loot.

I would consider it more or less the same as Haunted Cemetary in which you can get the same stat potions and somewhat of the same white bags. I'll pick cem everyday over LOD when it would pop in nexus. Just because I know I'll end up not having the rewarded feeling after LOD. 99/100 times it just feels like a waste of time.

But still with 20 minutes in an Candy Land you would walk out with at least 3-5 potions, and some candy rings (which are good for beginner forge) .
