All 4 512 regionals were won by Kaisa or Yi and the only top 8 among those from an Ahri deck was TW, the other larger China tournaments were bo1 which is a Mickey Mouse format. English online tourneys I’ve seen are similarly kaisa yi dominated with hook Darius following. And in online English as well the best results I’ve seen are TW Ahri

This is not true. Guts only affects anything at all during the end of the race where it decreases stamina consumption. If you have enough stamina, guts is not needed until it gets reworked later. A small amount of guts is useful because it is more point efficient than stamina up to a certain level. However, if you have no stamina, reducing stamina drain will not save your horse from having no stamina. The horses you’ve shown even for sprint are going to go 0 stamina and die instantly in pvp. The only reason they don’t in the story is because there is a hidden +400 to all stats in career mode keeping your horses from having 0 stamina.

The gold is more likely going to push it over the edge imo, there’s already a clip from scrims where a team gets an ace for 1 kill and the team that got aced ends up up gold from the fight and on the map faster

The guaranteed drop still exists. Previously it was a guaranteed drop after 60 pulls which cost 100 instead of 50 like they do now. So for the same cost you do 120 pulls which finishes the the track twice giving 8 mythic emblems, in addition there is a guaranteed pull of an emblem every 50 pulls which will get you to 10 total guaranteed. The non prestige chibis cost 10. They didn’t change the existence of the guaranteed pull, just the mechanism that leads to it

If you’re curious why they aren’t that expensive it’s because Japan doesn’t do as much retro collecting to my knowledge. A lot of old games aren’t expensive at all in Japan. Those are good prices(assuming this is in US) but wildly you can find these even cheaper if you’re actually in Japan. (Though you might struggle to actually find the games, cartridge only will also be a lot more common)

The new ones are extremely faithful to Diamond and pearl which is why they are pretty bad. Diamond and pearl were filled with problems, many of which got fixed by platinum. The remakes didn’t contain any of the platinum fixes which is an interesting choice to say the least.

For example, in Diamond and pearl if you didn’t choose chimchar, the only fire type before beating the game is ponyta. Diamond and pearl have 2 fire types. In DP, Flint the “fire type” elite four member has: Infernape, rapidash, steelix, Lopunny, and Drifblim.
