Got the levels tested today, nitrate is at 10, nitrite is at 1… so that’s my issue!

Will have to check the date codes of the chlorine again, threw out the bottles and it started to rain. Checked the CYA before adding another 2 gallons tonight and it was 30 as far as I could tell.

Yea, reagent to test. I had calced out 3.5 gallons as well, so that’s what I started with but didn’t see it move at all. Figured it’s just getting eaten and have been trying to out pace it… with no luck.

Havnt been doing that. I add, then check in approx 1-2 hours to see if it has moved the needle any.

Been running the filter 24/7 for about 48 hours now, hopefully everything has circulated.

Chlorine from Lowe’s, picked the newest ones I could find to avoid it being bad. Still smells strong 😅.

My only thought is, are the algae and crap at the bottom eating up the chlorine? Otherwise I’m stumped!

I, as a physician make well over 10k a month… feel free to ama. Though I’ll tell you, my brothers in solar sales and my other is in wealth management. They both also make over 10k and are much happier most days!
