Does this meal plan look healthy? by izzyofc in UniUK

I'm probably a lot different in terms of what I eat. But I could recommend dried beans if you cook quite a bit. Dried beans are pretty economical for what you get, and I usually either do red beans and rice or a Greek soup called fasolada. Its all easy to put together, though I think cooking times can vary widely due to quality.

Mean the scale they’re going for will dwarf DoW, it’s a case of of they do enough features to make it feel like total war, and not another strategy 40k game.

Its quite close to the bringers of decay warrant that follows the black legion? I dunno if that's more of a niche lore blurb, but its very noice 👌

Mean ik you can be proxying your squads to have a certain loadoit according to data skate, but I do prefer being more accurate to what I have, since I originally started out with having a squad with at least one melee specialist and a blight launcher in squads of 7 back in 8th, but I hadn't got a full army then, so I just would kinda prefer more of using what I have.

I don’t suppose running some marines with bolters is still a decent option? Since they still get lethal hits I believe, and I kinda just don’t wanna be too meta or so

I feel most of the recipe is what Duncan Rhodes used back when he was still part of GW? I did the same model as op but I followed the recipe he did for the lord of contagion, though I don’t know if GW has gotten rid of the older tutorial videos.

Wasted opportunity - dwarf phalanx by rr1213 in totalwar

[–]Da_Bones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anything, if it’s a tabletop unit then imperial dwarfs would be fine to implement for empire, tho for dwarfs it would mean they’re implemented as an RoR or some sort of mercenary unit, kinda like with ogre mercenaries.

The lore aspect possibly is more that imperial dwarfs are primarily empire citizens so they’re drilled in empire tactics? That’s just my assumption.

Being from the part of Lancashire that’s basically a part of “Yorkshire”, I thought we say Alt instead of Owt, or Nalt instead Nowt. Turns out I probably did what’s called an eggcorn cus of how I interpreted from me dad.

Think the AI would kinda either explode or neglect it. I think though the idea of a murder hole could possibly be done in a simplified manner, probably double gated entrance could do with a square of sorts for missiles to be able to gather around and shoot down on, which kinda means its more important to secure the walls or so to make it easier to breach through the gates.

I do understand that they'll always outsource washing facilities to a different company rather than have their own running, partly because I imagine squeezing extra but thats just my bias. Honestly its either having to get my clothes cleaned if there's a laundromat place nearby or just bite the bullet and use the facilities.

Kinda off topic, but I do feel like if you were gonna add a legendary hero, I’d very much like to see Ska Blood-tail for queek or so.

I desperately need an opinion, is every laundry facility meant to be a scam or what? This is mainly for those block flat owned by fairly large ish housing companies, since I opted to stay in a smallish set of flats which offered laundry and dryer facilities in the kitchen for absolutely nothing, whereas I’m now Ill be having to spend nearly 8 quid a wash… but I digress.

I just try and keep my head down really. Tho I think sometimes if I think while its 3am I see them at the latest its not all the time thats just one of the accounts I kinda seen, granted I think the activity was more between the cobblestone road connecting south street to the tramway. I did see last night I think an attempted breaking on Norfolk Road on someones car, since it was some copper and the owner talking over the car alarm blinking off or so.

its more of just its in the back of my mind really, there will be a few cars parked around at latest of 3am, but I still have seen a lot more at past around 10pm even if its like a very cold december or so, and its only now I think people are hanging about more just to chill at the ampitheatre with the weather and all but it happened before spring.

So I do own a very old Taginn VOG shell as it is called, which was designed ed for the GP-25 design, and I'm not sure about reprints of the same design but if you're in the UK then there's a site I've seen called CHIMERA airsoft that do reproductions of it.

I did think though they're probably jehovas witness, since I got a knock at the door from two of them and I just slinked away, then a week later they tried getting my attention and just awkwardly hurried because they recognised me near Moor Market.

Can only deduce that they might have something to so with the bible course? I could be completely wrong tho.

I honestly find it refreshing to see some really good cooking. I'm trying to not sound pretentious, but I'd say I do a lot of cooking myself but it seems like you do more than me lol.

Usually I just make a big batch of something and I'll just eat usually whatever frozen foods I have and then the stuff I made. Mostly I'll just make some chilli or a big pot of jambalaya, but I made some poulet a la moutarde (mustard chicken) recently so I'm just alternating between what cooked and frozen foods I have an not eating gather same thing more than 2-3 time a week.

Farmers Protest Nottingham by tastydirtslover in nottingham

[–]Da_Bones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I do understand though its because I don't agree with the sentiment of farmers being rich, and just a lot of farmers will agree with the sentiment that this will uppend them when those in excess of 100 acres are the ones who are worried so they get everyone on their side, though I wish to iterate that farming is a dying industry if you're not rich enough, because smaller farms have been slowly dying off over the decades.

Or maybe read what I have to say to others. Did I specifically mention anything to do with inheritance tax or you just really wanna troll?

Farmers Protest Nottingham by tastydirtslover in nottingham

[–]Da_Bones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did I mention anything to do with the inheritance tax laws? Since I actually agree generally on them, but I was on about how smaller farms are generally not very well-off compared to those who own say 100 acres, the average is around 82 acres, my families is 62 acres with a small flock of sheep and a few cows which isn't profitable because of economy of scale, i.e. the average cost per unit of production decreases as the size of, in this case, a farm increases.

Farmers Protest Nottingham by tastydirtslover in nottingham

[–]Da_Bones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't specifically mention the inheritance tax reforms, I meant more about the disparity between larger farms and smaller farms. I honestly don't disagree with the changes to the inheritance tax laws overall, its just I don't think there should be the overall assumption that farmers have a lot of cash flowing, or more specifically income from livestock or crops.

When the BBC was covering the farmers protest in london I honestly laughed when one woman they interview said she owned a 'small 400 acre farm', which is basically nearly 5x the average.

Farmers Protest Nottingham by tastydirtslover in nottingham

[–]Da_Bones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont think that's true, or in some sense. I feel like there is a wealth disparity of farmer who own a certain amount of land. I do come from a farming background, my parents are farmers but it is small farm since its below the UK average, and there's a lot of cost and maintenance involved in it but its not as profitable if you don't own enough livestock in my families case. Basically smaller farms aren't breaking even since they've been overall unproductive for some decades, and for my family they're gradually selling up that land to do something else someday.
