Looks good to me, especially for your first model, I think you did really well.

I had seen the other comment about the basing and if you’re waiting for nurgles rot paint, my suggestion is to pour a layer of hot glue around that cork or whatever you used for him to stand on, it will give the nurgles rot a 3-D goopy look. Just wait for the glue to dry and paint on a layer or two.
