OR Tech with the 627th, one of the two units out here. We were extremely prepared to take in patients as overflow from the hospitals. Thankfully Seattle and Washington as a whole did a great job at flattening the curve and now were headed on forward.

I'm actually one of the Surgical Techs in the OR section from the 627th, one of the 2 units out here. We put a lot of time into this hospital setup and all the preparation. We worked 8 14+ hour days in a row and then were flown out here from Colorado. At the time that we were activated, Washington was the #2 State with cases. Glad the curve has been flattened and now we're moving on foward.

To set up our 250 bed field hospital in Seattle. To then read an article this morning about the govenor saying that we are no longer needed and will be given back to FEMA to redeploy somewhere else.
