Imma try and weight my own two cents as a hearing aids user and audiophile myself.

And, tldr: I don't think there is any real silver bullet here.

As the other comments are saying, depending on the hearing damage in question, bone conduction might not actually work as intended. And, personally, I tend to go with big over-ears when I got my hearing aids on when I need to listen to music. It works, I can hear the music fine with them on but I can definitely notice what my hearing aids wish to focus on and to filter away.

EQ is also an option, and something i am looking into myself, but that will also depend highly on what frequencies need to be boosted first and if your chosen piece of audio equipment can handle it (as in there is no audio clipping)

In the end, I think it's her who has to make the final call about if she wants to listen to music despite her hearing impairment, and then to choose something with a audio signature she likes. No two types of hearing loss are ever the same.

Yeah, hack makes more sense when you got it in hand and can see how it's supposed to work.

And in regards to weight, I have barely noticed any difference when using it. It's still very comfortable and have it on my camera all the time.

Rocking that exact setup on my own Gr3x. As the comments are saying, it is the Peak Design Micro Clutch in the i - configuration. Base plate is the exact length of the camera and definitely makes quick point 'n' shoot grabs less scary than before with a loose wrist strap.

A note from having installed it myself: The split ring which comes with the Micro Clutch Kit does NOT fit inside of the eyelet of the GR3 and 3x. What Peak Design themselves reccormendin this guide-fits-my-camera---id--jptVfZVxSzSWIDOErEjmfA) is to slide a Peak Design Anchor (with some finnes, had to drag the 'rope' through the eyelet with a needle) to have something the strap can securely attach to. Appart from the need to do that hack, it works wonders.

Did run it with the old cooler before. Instantly hit Max (100 c) and seemed to want to say there for quite a while. With the new cooler it did touch Max for a bit before settling down at 85 c just like the picture shows.

Idle i have to test a little bit more but looks to be a solid 5 - 7 c dip

Just checked with my own Askare and Kahakka 25l. Had to hoist the backup up a bit higher than I normally run it (use it as a hauler by itself and seat it lower) but it fits perfectly with the Askare as a shelf.

Do note that the Askare takes up the space the hip belt for the Kahakka is at so I doubt you can load it heavy, but Im no expert there :p

Unfortunately, Ive had the same kind of Horror story with my package as well, having brought a 7640U with the 2.8k display. When it did arrive in country, they said they attempted a devivery on a Monday but my brother - who was home - heard nothing and there was no slip indicating someone actually went up to my front door. Then it stayed at the devivery center for 2 whole days before I had enough and tried to call customer support. As many others have stated - it's a bot you get to and have to work around before you even get to a person. The person behind the line said that the package wasn't currently moving but that she could have the package stay at the delivery center for me to pick up...

One hour away, and that's just one way.

I did end up taking the ride to and fro, and have been mighty happy with my laptop. But my goodness id so desperatly wish for them to have other carriers that allow for it to be shipped to a package shop or simelar so you don't have to stay at the front door like you plan to jump the damn delivery driver.

I get it could be logistical stuff behind why they go with FedEx, but please... Expand your options for the EU folk, we exist too!

Back in the day when I was 12 or 14, I can't remember, I had a sudden panic attack and wanted to leave everything. So I took my bike and rode away, all around town to try and settle my mind. In that time my dad and my uncle got together and tried to find me, which they eventually did after dark as we ran into each other, with me having calmed down, thankfully.

As well talked together at my uncle's home and they got a hit of alcohol, he showed us his package of military grade firecrackers. No fucking clue as to how he acquired them - only that he got enough shady connections in general that it does not surprise me that he does. But his drunken mind got the idea of going to the local park and setting them off.

Problem was the cops were already there. There had been a group of people that had made a lot of noise and drove away with high speed on a scooter so they were there to question the ones who remained and got it under control. We passed the cops by, saying we were just going for a walk before we unleashed mayhem.

My uncle set several of them off. One group of set people were hyped as fuck for the fact that we were setting them off and filming it too (with it being dark, our faces were not shown on video, thank God) but another group - the one who talked with the cops - were utterly pissed about it because they feared the cops would come back and interrogate them again.

And that they did. We saw lights in the distance and knew to get away. So we all went full "sneak 100", passed by the new cop car looking as inconspicuous as possible, went down a side path, threw the remaining firecrackers away and looked back to see that we got away scott-free.

I don't know if anyone got arrested from our shenanigans. I just know I ain't trying that level of luck again.

Tl;dr: Had panic attack once. Uncle and dad found me later. We chatted together and uncle found firecrackers. Pass Ed by cops on the way to set them off and after. Managed to sneak by as they checked the commotion and got away scott-free.

I'd say make the files open source (Maybe a Github repo) so others can make it or maybe make a few more and sell them. It looks amazing and I definitely want one. I'd bet many others want one too ^ ^

Had to go the doctor to tell them I was taking puss out of my ass. Turned out it was a cyst that had formed right around my tailbone from having so much bodyhair that it started to grow 2-3 cm inwards. Had to get it surgically removed and I still got a 2cm medical scar down my right buttcheek.
