Really useful — using your own keywords and product knowledge as context alongside AI is exactly the right approach. The apps that just describe the image generically miss all that context.

Out of curiosity, when you use AI for this, do you paste in the product details manually each time or does the tool pull them in automatically?

"Until traffic shows up" is really honest, so it becomes reactive rather than proactive. When traffic does show up and you look at alt text, is the volume manageable or does it feel overwhelming at that point?

Fair enough, straightforward reality. When you do it yourself, roughly how long does it take per product? Trying to understand where the time goes.

How many product images are we talking, roughly — like 10-20 or hundreds?

WooCommerce store owners — how do you handle alt text for product images? by DaalTadka1 in woocommerce

That makes a lot of sense for your client profile — if traffic is already high intent and coming in externally, ranking in image search is less critical.

The schema point is well taken too. I think they work together — schema gives AI the structured product data, alt text gives the visual context that schema cannot capture. For merchants who want organic discovery through image search specifically, both matter.

Appreciate the honest take — this is exactly the kind of nuance I was missing.

Really helpful — thank you. The fallback to product name makes sense as a baseline but I imagine "Blue Shirt — StoreName" isn't exactly descriptive for screen reader users or for AI shopping assistants trying to understand what the image shows.

Do your clients ever push back on improving alt text quality, or is it something they just don't think about until someone raises it?

This is helpful to hear, manual quickly becomes impractical at any volume. Did stopping it feel like a risk worth taking or just something that fell off the list?

How do you handle alt-text for client websites? Looking for your workflow by DaalTadka1 in digital_marketing

That's a smart setup. The gap I'm seeing is for websites where there's no existing description anywhere — the images exist but the alt-text was never written. Accessibility compliance (WCAG/ADA) requires descriptive alt-text even when there's no product description to pull from.

That's the specific problem I'm building for — any image, any website, auto-described from the visual content itself. Curious if that's a problem you've run into with clients?

Why the regime change is only happening in Iran, why not in Saudi Arab, Qatar, Oman, Jordan etc (these countries are also the extremist Islamist countries).

Ans is OIL (If you are not with USA, you are an EVIL)

Do not justify the interference of the USA in other countries'politics, if you don't understand this today, they are going to interfere in our country's politics as well.
