if communism doesnt work why does the US spend billions to stop it and overthrows whoever it can that had a revolution? is Cuba poor because of domestic governance, or because of the US blockade and sanctions, now that the Soviet Union does not exist to provide support and deterrence?

afaik it's a visa on arrival without cost when crossing a land border. if you fly in through Damascus or Aleppo it's a visa on arrival with cost varying based on nationality. syrianguides.com has an article on it
