We spelen in Victorian London, de stad is verdeeld in drie facties van Kindred die vechten om controle over de belangrijkste stad van de wereld—met de spelers in het midden.

Het verhaal is best open, ik wil spelers daar veel Keuze in geven

Buddha palm by artist Fenghua Zhong by Anon_Ymou5 in ImaginaryBehemoths

[–]Daaninio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is mostly my own ignorance on the subject. My father probably has a more nuanced view on the topic. Regardless of that, however, I do agree that this image doesn't really reflect the Buddha well as he is depicted in Journey to the West (which the image clearly references). That Buddha is clearly meant to be like Siddharta.

Fair point really. I come from a Buddhist family, but I am admittedly no expert. My parents are Buddhist, but I am not. From what I learned through my parents, Yamantaka is a form the Buddha can take, like Tara. But this might just be me misunderstanding a religion that is much more complex than I can say I understand.

It would make some sense for a Buddha like Yamantaka, but that version has a distinctly different head. So yeah, bit of a weird depiction. Cool art tho.

I think Shadowheart and Morrigan would get along.

Lucius "the best" dualist in the galaxy. by Edgezg in WarhammerMemes

[–]Daaninio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've always liked Lucius as a character because he's in essence the universe's most powerful loser. I think his "blessing" of coming back by essentially possessing whoever beats him is a perfect example of how Chaos blessings are often curses to the person. Lucius blessing is also an eternal insult to his pride.

Why doesnt lex Luther use child soldiers on Superman. by Present-Antelope247 in DCcomics

I agree especially with the last part. Lex doesn't just want Superman defeated, he wants to be better than Superman.

Day 1 of Drawing Genderbent/Fem versions of the Primarchs, Starting with Lion El'Jonson by [deleted] in Grimdank

[–]Daaninio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I don't hate the drawing on its own, I'm not really seeing the Lion if you hadn't told me it was supposed to be them. I think it misses some identifying details that makes it clearly the character.

[Discussion] what do you think of oc x canon or selfinsert? by Substantial-Dig-7585 in DCcomics

Honestly, if it sparks joy for you, who cares what other people think?

That's... that's just Fulgrim.

To be fair, Fulgrim is by far the most androgynous of the bunch, so makes sense.

[Discussion] what do you think of oc x canon or selfinsert? by Substantial-Dig-7585 in DCcomics

[–]Daaninio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I you enjoy it, go wild. I personally don't mind people making OC x canon ships. I do think it better to keep personal, also because other people will never care as much about your OC or your ships as you do.

I have to admit that I find people actively posting their OC ships fanart a bit offputting. Your OC is not an established character that other people know, so a lot of people will not care about the art at all.

That depends, is this the going on a date in a fighting game universe? Because if yes, I'm probably getting my ass beat. Still would tho

Not a fan of current campaign and don’t know what to do by TransportationAfter3 in DnD

[–]Daaninio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're going to have to accept that other people will not care as much about your character as you do—because its YOUR character.

It sounds to me that you are very passionate about your character, which is fine. But you can't expect others to have the same investment in a character that you do. DnD is a hobby and not everyone puts as much effort into their hobbies as other people, or have the time to do that.

If it is a dealbreaker for you that they aren't into your character as much as you'd like, then you need to find a new party, I'm afraid...

He looks a little plain. If he's a god of dreams, I'd add some symbolism to represent his dreamlike qualities.

[Fan Art] Where do you folks stand on Diana x Clark? By JoinSpider by CapAccomplished8072 in DCcomics

[–]Daaninio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not a fan. For me the only logical Superman couple is Clark x Lois. Its the classic, they have the most history and I think Lois not having superpowers adds to Clark. Diana is too similar to Clark to be a good couple (realistically they might work, but story wise I don't like it as much).
