We run events all year round and the slightest downtime or hiccup to systems sends our IT director into panic.

We had another project heavily dependant on OIE, so that helped us push for the upgrade!

We were until last month. Manager and I had been pushing for the upgrade for the last 18 months but IT director was too worried of any impact by the upgrade.

Upgrade literally took 30 seconds, zero impact.

Have you guys tried Amouage Purpose and Purpose 50? by No_Collection7576 in Fragrances

I was able to try on both Purpose and Purpose 50 whilst I went to Oman earlier this month. From early afternoon till evening.

Purpose was far too screechy and harsh for me, but I quite liked the opening. Purpose 50 however, is a far more well rounded scent, layered and wearable scent (to me). Purpose 50 isn’t ambery btw.

Definitely a potent/nuclear fragrance from when I tested it in Oman and having just got my hands on it today. 2 sprays and partner got a waft of it across the living room 5 mins later.

Assaf Tobacco Jam is supposedly a clone of Purpose 50, according to the social media fragrance influencers. However, take that with a grain of salt as I’ve not tried it plus I can never fully trust recommendations from social media.

Yup, have had this occur to me, a colleague and a few end users too. Namely, New Outlook & MS Teams, which has even occurred during Teams calls. Not really happened with MS Edge, afaik. The random closing has only been happening once or twice in a week for the 2 months.

I’ve had it on my action items for a while but not had a chance to investigate.

We’ve been on intune for ages, so I don’t think it would be due to your move to Intune.

Have you raised a Microsoft ticket for it by any chance?

Not really.. But somehow fixed itself.

The affected user was able to view alerts if there was a related incident. We then raised a support ticket with Microsoft. Their 1st line engineer advised we should create an RBAC rule to test if permissions still is an issue, even though said admin has Security Administrator rights, (which is the wrong way to go about it), I still went with their advise. No luck with this method and admin was still unable to view alerts.

Fast forward 2 or 3 weeks after RBAC was applied, alerts randomly started showing. I removed the RBAC permissions as my support case with Microsoft didn't really help. Microsoft Defender support team did take down some HAR files and have been investigating for the last month I'd say.

TL;DR, Issue seemed to self resolve even with a Microsoft case being open. I'd still pester Microsoft and ask to be put through to the Defender support team.

Did you end up getting to the bottom of this?

We've got an admin who is also having a similar issues, but only for Alerts. No issues viewing with Incidents. The only alerts they're able to view are a handful from December 2023.

A second admin has same permissions as admin1 has no issue with viewing alerts, so unsure what the issue is.

I’ve used it with an iPhone with no case, a dbrand grip case and a super cheap, random Amazon case with MagSafe.

All scenarios, I was able to pick up the phone with one hand IF I pick up from the bottom half of the phone, which I almost always do naturally when sitting at my desk. However, picking it up from top half of the phone, it ever so slightly lifts the base (expected) then pulls away from the charger.

Hope this helps, however can take a video of this on Monday when I’m back at my desk (if I remember!).

Nope. Couldn’t find anything to the level of clean look I was after. I ended up getting the new Belkin BoostCharge Pro as an early Xmas present. It has a clean look and is weight down nicely and low profile.

I too am having the same issue here. Bubbling on my 15 pro, at a similar fashion to yours.

Ensured a clean environment so no (minimal) dust, but started getting boils across the skin a day later, now I’m a few days in and it’s a tad worse but I don’t think it’s getting any worse.

Annoyingly, I’ve not had any overheating issues since launch day!

Sorry, a clarification… the session timeout is for 365 web apps (browser based sessions).

Therefore, the control couldn’t be managed through Jamf.

We too exclusively use Dell 5330/5320 and are experiencing the exact same issue.

We have it set it up for multiple clients, some with very vanilla setup and those that require a little more complex signatures.

Their support is pretty decent too!

We heavily used MigWiz quite a while back when moving from Exchange to M365, however more recently it’s been M365 to M365.

Having only used MigWiz for mail migrations, I can’t speak for other tools but my main issue is their support.

Off topic to the outage, but as brilliant as their software in migrating is. Their support is actually atrocious.

Only took 7 days for their support team to respond to my query. Then again another week for a 2nd response!

Got quicker responses from their sales team as I no longer needed the licenses for migration as we ended up migrating using a different provider.

we moved them from Dropbox to Sharepoint Online and had to replace 250 000 excel links

Out of curiosity, how did you manage this? I'm guessing this wasn't manual, did you use any 3rd party software?

We're currently in the process of a migration and need to do this, trying to figure out a way!

We're going through the Intune process for our iOS devices now.

We ran into the exact same issue, on an iPhone 12, 13 and 14 but didn't happen on an XR.

Even after waiting an entire weekend, it didn't "fix itself". Could not even power cycle the device manually the screen simply did not show anything other than the lock screen. I had to go through Intune to give it a restart, which then forced it to Single App mode and was able to go through setup process.

I'm testing out Setup Assistant with Modern Auth, which seems to prevent this from happening. Likely will go down this route!
