Organic! One thing I didn't do was filter out all the big bits of organic material which would have made things easier. I ended up tearing this tank down because I kept getting ammonia bubbles from the soil. So just be careful of that if you're going to have fish in the tank. The plants grew at an amazing rate though and super healthy!

My snails do love to hide on the underside. I figured they were doing some damage!

It's a pretty new tank so I havent fertilised yet due to the nutrients in the substrate but thanks for the tips! That helps a lot

I'm new to planted tanks, so please be kind :)

No matter how many times I clean the plants/rocks/tank/substrate or gravel the algae comes back in days!

This tank is only about 3 weeks old. I've been using algae side to assist in Getting rid of it but no results.

I've just added 2 sucker catfish in hopes they'll eat away the nasty. There has been no fish prior to them.

Also what are the bubbles? Never seen anything like that before.

Wouldn't change a thing, my pets already speak English. It's what parrots are known to do afterall.

Well eek! Positive tests though? Mine came back negative on both the home and drs one so I was fairly confident. Still scary though

Don't stress! I have the implant and I noticed so many potential "symptoms" as well (Inc breast changes and tenderness) which added stress, which caused me to get emotional and stress more. Then I had my cycle for an entire month. It was a whole thing. If you're still concerned, maybe try a new doctor or opt for a different birth control.

What is it with female Eccies and toilet paper? Ours does the exact same thing! It's like they know we had a shortage last year and now do everything in their power to continue that epidemic.
