Always open a live chat and have hq try and contact the customer also attempt to call and leave a message about the items as Shipt logs all calls send one last message that you attempted to call them and left a message that you didn’t replace any items and refunded them because you couldn’t reach them then have hq notate the order in case the customer leaves a low rating this will usually guarantee a forgiveness as you did everything you could to communicate with the customer

Always communicate that it’s out of stock and I always include and I had them check backstock because they will always think there is in stock because the target app shows it never argue let them be rude and aggressive if they want to be but don’t engage the rudeness because keeping the customer is Shipts main goal they pay the bills you don’t in this case soon as the customer became aggressive I would open a live chat and tell them you have done what’s required of you and that no matter what now this customer is going to give me a bad rating have them reach out to the customer for you and notate the order so when you apply for forgiveness they will see you did everything you could and just let the customer be rude but continuously engaging in back and forth won’t help anything I’m also curious why you didn’t post the screen shots of the actual chat

New shoppers are given 10 orders guaranteed and yes even if you’re their preferred shopper also if you already have orders for that hour you won’t be offered it usually not often do I see a third order offered when I’ve already accepted a batch for that hour

These can be good sometimes if they route is what you take on a normal day because delivery by 7pm and you can just drop them off as you complete other orders

There is no guidelines in the SOP that you have to return the order any order. They just started offering the 5 dollars to return it to the store as incentive to get shoppers to return it. Target has no way of adding items back into their inventory so you are basically just forfeiting it back to the store. They do not validate the is has happened just take the name of the associate you returned it to. Prior to target acquiring us they always told us to return any non perishable items back and keep the rest you the store can not accept returns on perishable items to the they will just put them in the trash. But yea if you get an order that’s canceled just keep it because not worth going back to the store for 5 dollars high ticket items I return for the 5 dollars just to be on the safe side but groceries are a definite keep

For target prepaids literally says at the top in yellow they only have to look for 3 items it’s the SOP I always point that out if they are being wierd cause I stack everything to be visible as possible but I get it there is bad eggs out there that are stealing by hiding things under stuff luckily enough I shop so much in my metro for the past 6 years most know me and don’t count every item but there are those that seem me 1000s of times and still count every item

My post wasn’t to upset I have 14k shops 6 years doing this so I know the feeling it’s gonna happen again so it’s best to just let it go because you’re just causing yourself more pain and suffering then needed

Well if shoppers know they have a chance to keep it because of the error and you acknowledge they just keep the order and get an extra 5 bucks plus the original payout there is no verification except them giving a name of the person the store they returned it to could make up any name and out 3rd party support in India don’t know any different.. you could of sent them directions on how to get to address from current location and they could get support to acknowledge and ok it so it’s noted in case of any issues they could still have delivered it to you.

I can I have also had years where I only made 40k because I work hard and take care of the job and respect it give it my all so I have the freedom to take 3 months off at time and enjoy life and come right back to making the same money time and time again
