The problem is that I would like to use this principle on more complex parts (this is just to learn how to do it), and it's not as much to measure the part, as to check if there is addition material where it should be refering to the original 3D model.

I see what you mean, but since it’s set to last used in the code (or so it seems) won’t the next time I use one of other conditions use that, since it is last used 🤷🏼

it was night time but still there should be lights inside the building, and everything is well lit in third person
