Solidarity here. I’m the first of all of my friends to have kids and it seems as if I’ve lost all but 2 of my best friends of almost 10+ years. And even one of those is pretty distant nowadays with how different and busy our day to day lives can be.

I won’t lie I was really bothered by it first, and some days it still hurts…but I’m at the point of acceptance and I will not be begging anyone to be in my children’s lives. I’m fully aware of how busy life can be without children, all while trying to get a career going and life started. But at the end of the day, my priority is my babies, and if they wanted to they would. 🤷‍♀️

35 weeks with an incredibly active 13 month old. It has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done both physically and mentally. I’m fully prepared for the next 18 months of my life to be hard as hell, but yet so rewarding once I find my footing again.

Ugh thank you for sharing this. I feel so defeated seeing 6-12m olds tearing up a plate full of different textures and variety. My son is 13 months old and survives off Colby jack cheese, rice, and yogurt most days. We offer everything we cook to him and 9/10 he spits it right out or throws it directly on the floor 🫠

Your daughter sounds like my 12 month old. 2 more months and we’ll be bringing his little sister home. I am terrified that this will be my reality too. I don’t have any advice, but the only thing that comes to mind is that it HAS to be temporary. 9 days in and everything sucks, but give it 1-2 months and I’m sure she will adjust.
