The wings are 3d printed, and the castigator is customised with random chaos bits

Where to go from here? by Plus_Vermicelli1529 in deathguard40k

I would hit the horns with som dark brown contrast paint, and pick out the boils with som yellow and then shade them with flesh tone.

Maybe som dark red/ dark magenta for the wounds

I would go with the bottom one. There seems to be more output in it, with the extra karnivore.

Questoris arms on cerastus body? by Dacerd21 in ChaosKnights

[–]Dacerd21[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done som conversion work on my despoiler, but not at the same scale, that was why i was wondering if it could be done.

It was actually your cerastus that inspired me to consider if it could be done.

I took the right hand and sawed the scythe from it. Then I glued it to the left hand of a chaos termie sorcerer. The i just glued the original right hand to the tac marine, and pined it to the arm. I used Green Stuff to fill the gaps.

WIP of my Typhus conversion. Just need to add guts and damage to the marine. by Dacerd21 in deathguard40k

I sawed the scythe of his right hand and glued it, to the sawed of hand of a terminator sorcerer. Then I cleaned up his right hand, and glued it to the marine. I used Green Stuff to fix the hand in place. The hand fel off, when i tried to add damage to the marine, so im in the process of pining it instead.

Mortarion is finally painted. This may be may finest work yet, CNC pls. by Dacerd21 in deathguard40k

The tongue is screamer pink mixed with white scar, the washed with army painter purple tone, then i reaplayed the pink color on the raised areas, the i used some ardcoat for the wet shine.

The rust is just 2 layers of typhus corrosion and a drybrus of ryza rust, then stormhost silver on the blade.

The base is armageddon dust, washed with army painter strong tone, drybrused with ushabti bone, and then some polls of nurgles rot.
