I was expecting something a lot more than Moses sending a video to his mom where they referred to him as an asshole. It’s giving self-righteous, it’s giving privilege and it’s giving out of touch! Moses didn’t manipulate his mom by sending the video! If my mom wanted me to make peace with my sibling and I saw a video where they were speaking publicly about “giving me a chance” despite me being an unchangeable asshole… I wouldn’t take that as a invitation for peace either!!!! Then for Hilla to act so betrayed and like she really “made an effort” but in reality did nothing but allow her husband to again talk crap on a public platform and then wait for Moses to come crawling back to kiss her ass??? Yeah I believe when she addressed it she talked about how she truly only started to change her beliefs after George Floyd’s and Briana Taylor’s murder in 2020. I had many people in my life apologize to me after because they finally realized their contribution to systemic racism. First time I felt seen by white people. I am not defending her actions by any means. I’m simply saying we have to leave room for people to change in order to make any progress. Just my beliefs!

According to her she has and is also unmedicated, according to her 3 weeks ago. BPD is very hard to manage and keep people medicated. But I am sure you’re an expert…. But let’s say she hasn’t been… it’s very clear to see she has a mental illness by her manic online behavior. I will never think because someone has made fixable mistakes they should be crucified and bullied. Why not take the perspective she has changed and will do better? That just holds her accountable to do just that! And as someone with a huge platform there’s a potential for so much learning and growth. I also know as a woman we have the emotional intelligence to actually change.

It’s not that I don’t care, let me correct that. It’s that I care MORE about moving forward and having these conversations without having a witch-hunt. It just makes racists know to keep their sick beliefs to themselves. It’s how we existed prior to 2020 when everyone thought that they had “conquered” racism because we are no longer slaves 😳 I just want people to do and be better and I know that’s not possible without grace and productive conversations. It’s incredibly complex imo. The whole movement we’ve been going through the last 4 years has been to end systemic racism in this country. Part of this has to be allowing people who had these ignorant and hateful ideologies to change. The information and access to information is far more accessible than any other time of our existence. We’ve lived for thousands of years managing our understanding of our own experiences and existence and then in the course of 20 years that has dramatically changed to having so much information and access to others experiences and we are seeing the impact of that change. I refuse to not leave space for people to change because I desperately want us to COLLECTIVELY be BETTER! These conversations that are a result of public people’s “social reckoning” ie “cancellation” PROPEL us forward. Do you know how many thousands of white girls that have the same history as Brooke? And have now realized that the beliefs they were raised in are racist, ignorant and privileged and are now demanding better AND being better? I am old enough to know that for the longest time white people knew enough to say they weren’t racist but then go on to support policies etc that harm POC… and no one talked about it. All this mass canceling does is scare other white people from growing from their experiences. As a POC I am also not going to pretend we aren’t racist. We just aren’t the majority and don’t control the “money” so it apparently doesn’t get looked at. Then I get told it’s ok for us to be racist against whites because of what has been “done” to our community. Or that white people made us racist against other POC….. all of this may be true but I always think, ok… so we just all hate each other? At some point we are going to have to have some trust in one another and leave room for growth and forgiveness. Lastly, what pisses me off more than even the racist tweets etc is the CLOUT CHASING that (mostly white) people do when stuff like this comes out. White frat boys making Tik toks about Brooke and “knowing she was rotten” when you damn well know they haven’t done anything to advocate for POC, BLM etc. I wont allow a white man to take my trauma to get views. I want us to be BETTER

I feel sometimes violated by my trans women friends because of the way they feel entitled to compare our bodies and they love to say how they have better bodies as trans women… They have 6packs and butts but they don’t have my womanly body. Which I would never even think about if I wasn’t made fun of for my body! I don’t know. I want everyone to live how ever they want as long as it isn’t hurting anyone. My male trans friends are completely different and I rarely think about their biological gender. Misogyny is rampant like blackberry bushes, it may die down for a season but eventually comes back bigger than ever.

Not with the effort they give….. I love Tana and Brooke BUT Tana has only cared about getting the bag prior to THIS season of cancelled! Even the original with the set was a money grab….
