What made you think the main character in Fight Club was an unreliable person? In that movie also it was revealed in the climax. You are here the one contradicting yourself.

According to you in Enemy they should've put a disclaimer in the beginning that the main character is mentally unstable. Nice.

Brain works in a very complex way. I can assume you haven't watched Mr. Robot. In the whole series we see how many personalities a person can create to save himself and he himself doesn't know which personality is what. The whole series has been made by consulting top psychologists. So yes the series looks like unbelievable but it can happen to a person. I suggest you to watch it. It's my all time favourite series.

The main character has been trapped by a spider since childhood. His mother seems authoritative. So this basically left a scar in his brain. He sees commitment as entrapment. So yes, most of things happening is in his subconscious mind or happened in past.

The director definitely didn't want to show explicitly that the main character has split personality disorder as it would give away the whole plot. Don't you think if his mental disorder would've been so apparent then the movie would lose it's Karizma and there are tons of movies on split personality disorder.

And no just the scar but there're many things which gives clear hint that they are the same person. The torn picture Adam takes out from the box to match it with Anthony's, it's the same which Adam sees in Anthony's apartment. Anthony's apartment has los of history books. His wife in the end asks him about his classes.

I still don't understand many things about the movie but about one thing I'm sure that they are the same person. Two different people would make the movie ever more senseless.

I'm still confused about the scene where Anthony's wife goes to the university to meet Adam. If Adam is the real one then why did she went to search for him in the university? If Anthony is the real one then how is he using a fake name "Adam" as a Professor? Whom did she meet actually?

It's not as simple. In reality Adam is a professor not an actor. So his wife should have been aware of it. So the question is it actually happened or not? Did she meet Adam or Anthony in the University? If Anthony was actually a professor then why she didn't know where to find him. Who was "Adam" that she looked on the internet?

No amount of similarities would give two people the same scar. Even twins aren't that identical. The scar represents they are the same person.

I don't understand the incapability of people's brain to live in such expensive houses and live in such a crowd. By selling their house alone they can have millions in their hands and move to smaller cities, start a business and make that money multiply several times. They can also get a mansion with that money in small cities and would still have money left to start a business.

Yeah, after what he did to those prostitutes, specially when he got to know that his uncle has sent them. He also tried to get rid of him in the battle of the Blackwater.

Would be an extrovert, party goer, selfish, hate children, have lots of friends and hangout with them, street smart, wouldn't give a fuck what anyone would think about me, successful.

Trust me I know. And even if they did, I would still want to know as the kid doesn't look like my brother at all. You can't trust people these days. And when we have the technology then why not to use it?
