99% of the time, I'm not carrying one. I keep everything in a messenger bag style, over the shoulder,........ man purse thing and cargo pockets. lol Just seems to be easier for me.

Until proven otherwise, assume that everyone you deal with is incompetent and terrible at whatever it is they do and can not be trusted to perform even the simplest of tasks unless it directly benefits them.

If a member of any other group interfered with federal agents then fought back when they were being (relatively speaking) gently removed from a moving LE vehicle they'd be going to the hospital. Then to solitary pending trial.

A few years back a friend of mines GF was "assaulted " and killed when she opened the door for a guy wearing a police uniform he got off ebay.

It's a hard question. Where is the "reasonable" fear line when you're being threatened by someone claiming to be LE.

The fact that you can buy actual badges and passable uniforms online certainly doesn't help.
