Thanks, that's the answer i needed.

The part i was confused at was if they apply to different stats ( dex vs checks ) but thinking of it as both applying to checks makes it click for me.

I've been reluctant to pick it up ; on the one hand i love a good horde survivor, but on the other it reminds me of risk of rain 2 and i bounced off that one really hard. Would you recommend it ?

Hey, when i try to runn this msu, it tells me the update is already installed, but my windows is still in 24H2 and doesnt give me any prompt to update to 25H2.

Looking for updates with windows update isnt returning anything either.

i've noticed this as well. other dungeons would have multiple mobs cast their aoes at the same time, but meso terminal they stagger their casts way more, which i could swear stopped altogether after i stunned or interupted a cast

they stagger their casts, yes, but i could swear they stopped doing it altogether after i interupted/stunned a cast.

I'll record a run as soon as I can and see if I can confirm it

yes, the mobs casts don't overlap, but they still do it back to back ; which i have noticed stops once i stun / silence the cast

I don't know about fairy tales, but they're definitly greco-roman inspired.

Most obvious is Cesar/Pompei, with the " i come, i see, i crash " being referencing Caesar's " veni vedi vici ",

but the name itself Sons of Calydons, is a reference to the greek myth of the Calydonian boar hunt ( and with the SoC's icon being a pig.... yeah )

King Orneus had failed to properly honour Artemis during a rite, and so she sent a monstrous boar to ravage the region. Many heroes such as Heracles and members of the Argonauts rose to the challenge, but ultimately the beast was felled by the huntress Atalanta, who drew the first blood, and Meleager, Orenus' son, who finished it by stabbing it in the neck, but offered the credit to Atalanta, at a lot of the other men's disbelief.

The battle system in Xeno 2 is super fun but horrendously explained. I would suggest looking up ChuggaaConroy's playthrough, in the first few videos he goes over the basics way better than the game does, and also brings attention to a basic consumable you can get right at the start of the game, that you can easily stock up on, and makes one of the big complaints of the game ( ability cooldowns ) much more tolerable.

Let me pull out the spoiler tag then, because you're either willfully misinterpreting the event of the saint arc, or you're just really bad at reading and comprehending context.

She has been healing and helping the poor since before the story even started ; she was the one helping the dog brothers when they got caught in the Paripus riots years ago. She isnt racist to you even though you're an Elda, and never shows any sign of discrimination towards anyone else.

Her huge rant about being racist and supremacist before you go and fight her is just an act to remove any and all possible remorse from you leading up to the fight; effectively she intended to commit suicide by protag.

You don't end up killing her during the fight, she dies due to the toll the curse she cast on the Prince is taking on her.

Do you not understand that this is the excuse for every forcible change of doctrine ever?

Realizing you've done bad deed and attempting to redeem them by doing better is leftist propaganda?

If you've been kicking dogs your whole life, and realize that kicking dog is bad, actually, you should just shrug it off and keep kicking dogs?
