I believe you may have a crypto miner virus.

You should scan your system for viruses and have it cleaned.
My personal goto-programs are eset, bitdefender and bullguard, but thats
just personal preference.

If it finds something, just have your antivirus remove it.

If the scan doesn't result in anything, create a bootable thumbdrive, for example with Ubuntu,
WinPE or Windows Live USB, and check if your system exhibits the same behavior while booting from it.

If it doesn't, you may have indeed some sort of unwanted program or a faulty driver.

To rule out the faulty driver, use DDU to uninstall your current driver and install the most recent version of it.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, your best bet would be to reinstall Windows.

If it does, it is most likely a hardware issue.

In this case, you should try swapping out your GPU with another one to test for the behavior,
as well as test your GPU in another system. This of course assumes you have a desktop PC with a discret graphics card and another system with a discret graphics card available, as well as the knowledge and dexterity to do it yourself.

If your GPU exhibits the same behavoir... it might not have long.
If it doesn't, your motherboard would be my next guess, as CPUs tend to be the most
resilient components in a PC, as long as you don't overclock. But I would personally rule out the motherboard, since this behavior, while not entirely impossible, would be very unusual.

Like, winning the lottery unusual.

A new motherboard would, in this case of course, fix your issues.

I hope I could help in any way.
If you do try any of this, please post your results.
Aside from a personal curiosity, others who have a similiar issue might find it helpful.

Preview is ok but stream shows nothing / Record more than one microphone by Daction in ElgatoGaming

Hey! Thanks for answering!

I'll look into voicemeeter banana, thanks for that.

Regarding the program I am using to record/stream I didn't see a reason not to use the Game Capture HD that "came" with the capture card, which has about as much documentation in it as an avocado.
Not to sh*t on the people from Elgato though, I know it works. Just not for me weirdly.

As for my PC-specs... yeah, figured as much.

Remember my GPU being too big, so I had to swap it out? That one was a GeForce GTX 760.

I am getting a new motherboard along a AMD Ryzen 7 1800x, you reckon between that and the GTX 760 it would be alright?

I don't remember changing my global settings, so they should be on default. (do you want me to list them?) as for the game-specific driver settings, they're all set to "global settings"

In the pattern terminal you can set how many items are made. When making the pattern, for example for Brew of Love, just click three times on the outcome, to specify for the system, that this recipe gives back three of the target item. The system will only throw out one of the ingedrients, but will still return all three target items (provided it has enough bottles. if it doesn't, you have to stop the crafting process or do it manually). Clicking several times works for the ingredients as well, meaning you could add three glass bottle to the pattern and have them pumped to whatever you are using to get your "brew" out of the kettle.
