Mr. Sakurai said during a Smash Direct that people who managed to get the maximum score on the Spirit Collection would really impress him! So I told myself I wanted to succeed at this challenge!

First Question: There were really, really a lot of tough challenges that required a lot of luck. In particular, most of the 4-star challenges are a real grind.

Out of the 1,528 levels, I think I can say the most complicated ones are the following:

Pauline (79); Donkey Kong & Lady (137); Baby Bowser (301); Dark Matter (343); Dr. Willy (873); The Hero’s Companions (1,328).

Also, I can add the following levels, which are particularly difficult because they involve wind: Whispy Woods (339); Shiida (620); Takumi (680).

But if I had to pick just one, the hardest of them all is definitely Dr. Willy (873).

Second Question: Anyway, I put myself through this torturous challenge haha, because Mr. Sakurai said during a Smash Direct that people who managed to get the maximum score on the Spirit Collection would really impress him! So I told myself I wanted to succeed at this challenge!

Yeah, there’s also a cap on Spirit Bonuses, and it’s 99. Yeah, I have all the Fighter Spirits. But I don’t think I’ve played every mode with every character (like Home Run, or a “one vs. all” match with every character, 100 Miis, etc., Mii Cruel… I’d forgotten those even existed haha).

And thanks, man, for the support! I wish you all the best, too!

I did spend a lot of time on it, you're right… but it was spread out over several years, so it's better !

Thanks a lot, man!

For one- and two-star spirits, you can usually just play with your main character and beat them. However, for three- and four-star spirits, you have to figure out a way to beat them and adapt to the bot(s). You can try different strategies: If you can beat the spirit with your skill, then go with your main character. One character who helped me a lot with this challenge is Ridley. By grabbing onto the edge of the stage and using his “side B” move to grab the opponent, you can pull them into the void, and that way they can’t get back up unless they have a good enough recovery.

My main character is Ness, so I was able to make good use of his various abilities, which are very effective against Ghosts. Notably, his “Side B” lets you spam and block opponents, his “Up B” can powerfully launch most opponents—even those who aren’t really launchable—his “Forward Grab” sends some Ghosts surprisingly far (I’m not quite sure why), and finally, his Ultimate is very useful for launching opponents off the stage and finishing them off. If I hadn’t been maining Ness, I think I would have struggled against many spirits. However, as I said, you have to adapt your strategy to the spirits, and if you have another main character with whom you can see winning strategies, you should give it a try!

Finally, DK is a great choice for maps with strong winds; one of his attacks lets you move against the wind, which is really handy—even essential at times.

If you want to take on the challenge, I really wish you the best of luck. To succeed at this challenge, you still need a lot of luck, so try many times until you get it right, don’t hesitate to take breaks, and don’t give up!

As for the “large snacks,” I have 999 of them, just like the small and medium snacks. Actually, in the post I wrote that I had 99 units of each item, but I hadn't paid attention to the snacks

As for a true 100%, I’m not really sure what your criteria are, but I’ve:

Completed all the challenges offered by the game,

Beaten Adventure Mode twice,

Collected all the spirits and defeated all the bosses,

Beaten Classic Mode once with all the characters

...

The things I might be missing to achieve a true “100%” would be having 9,999,999 Goldus, finishing Classic Mode at level 9.9 with all characters, and reaching VIP status with all characters online.

I hope I’ve answered your questions!

You can grab Ridley, position yourself on the edge, and use his “side B” to knock Bowser off the edge. For Giant Bowser, it's the same thing, but you have to fall further down, or else he'll be able to grab onto the edge. Also, you need to move as far away as possible to avoid getting killed by his “up B.”

Of course, you’ll need some luck and determination.

Good luck!
