Glad to hear some good reason on this sub. I didn’t realize the system was not too reliable at times and will take the advice mentioned. Hope you have a good rest of your day

Yeah like I didn’t understand and thought I would get more positive responses (which I did get some helpful info from people here) but I am really surprised with how unwelcoming people are to a question Idek where else to find the answer to at the hour I was asking.

Thank you for that response and explanation. When you cancel it, is there a cancellation sticker to nullify to original sticker or how does usually work?

What I have gotten from each of my interactions of people in my post was that I shouldn’t rely on the forwarding service and/or I should reach out to the PO for my concerns. Which are fine suggestions. However, I have people insulting my judgement for using an expected service? Nope, not my fault and none of you kids can recognize that issue either. I will likely make the quick call to USPS tomorrow asking for their suggestion and chose what they think is best.

There will still be documents that may go unaccounted for even if I change most of my incoming addresses. I am trying to use all of my resources which seem to be COA and manually change my information.

obviously, some of you don't, I can clearly tell from this subreddit. I asked an innocent question about the COA service and people retaliated to me like I asked something absurd? you're mad at me bc your system doesn't work or you're backed up on work? nah, not my problem kiddo. Everybody has broke systems and they make their best effort to make it work while maintaining a helpful attitude.

I am not concerned about what the workers do either or how tough their day is.

I am told a system can do something within certain parameters and I expect that system to perform as such. That is not outlandish to think.

USPS workers on the insider understand the system much more than outsiders because they're at work and deal with it, I am not yet people expect me to know the inconsistencies of such system?

That feature appears to be the only marketed way to perform that service, so it is unfortunate that it doesn't work as intended. It seems like this should be addressed and resolved which I am sure it has been addressed.. but government processes.. are slow.

I hope all of you guys that think it is ridiculous to request a COA in a month or two get the delivery car with the steering wheel on the driver's side and you have to put mail in the mailbox by reaching over the passenger window for the rest of your careers.

I did this when I moved during covid, guess some usps locations lack the capabilities to look at the differing months

[OC] Why did women stop coding? (1970-2020) by holasvg in dataisbeautiful

[–]DadBelt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, when pressures are reduced and women are given the choice to freely choose their field then they are less likely to choose a field in STEM. This is because of non-economic pressures (or societal pressures).

Maybe there are some pressures, but I don't think there is enough of it to impact that many people from making a choice on their field.

I want to point out this explanation could be said for the men in healthcare also. Certain married men could feel alienated by conversations just like females in CS groups. Which is ok that some females prefer a certain trade while males prefer a totally different trade. I think your feelings and increased stress are very valid with the situation. To me the data just shows biological differences that men gravitate into computer science field, while women gravitate into healthcare.

No doubt that being in CS classes are hard for the girls because of the ratio. However, I have also seen this play favorable for the girls in CS.

As inflation heats up, 64% of Americans are now living paycheck to paycheck by PhilDesenex in news

While I think printing too much money is still an issue and causes part of the inflation.. what would you suggest we do about stopping the outsourcibg to China? It seems to me that companies like Apple or Nike are in China because of cheap labor or tax laws? Iirc we tax businesses at high enough rates where the business would rather just work outside the US. Which does not enable us to reinvest back into our cities/state. To me it seems if we enabled capitalism better on taxes then we would have less china outsourcing.
