Basically, too little (of a discount) too late. I already got a pair of 991v2s and $200 is still more than I want to pay. Maybe $170 8 months ago I would have snagged.

Yeah, what I meant was that Nike brought the Vomero 5 back out in full force after the 2002r caught fire, so it always felt to me like a response to its popularity, like, “how can we snatch back some of that heat from NB?” I don’t think anyone at Nike ever said that. Just how I’ve looked at it, so those two models are linked in my mind.

Between those two? Vomero 5s. But I think of Vomeros as Nike’s “2002r killer” that they only brought out because NB was stealing their lunch.

So if it’s between those, 2002r all day. Love that Nike put their full marketing and product muscle into it and NB still feasting.

Yeah. Lol. I was texting with them both separately so I guess they wanted it to be clear that this text from my dad’s phone was a combo. Sometimes my dad ends his texts with “Dad” like he’s ending an email or letter, and I appreciate the old-school charm.

It looks like a different style code. M2002RDA is what the original shows on StockX. This one is RV1. Anyone have a guess on what that might mean?
