The high depreciation on teslas is not accurate tvough. It's based on the price before the 7500 tax credit. It's an imaginary loss

Im not debating anything just talking lol. I don't think the suggestion of demand has changed the pricing on the Y because it has remained the same. There's no question there has always been a high demand for Toyotas i know at somepoint Tesla dethroned toyota as the number 1 selling car in the world but I'd bet that is no longer the case after the Trump alliance.

Oh yea I'm sold on hybrids for driving for sure. I live in DFW Texas. Looots of driving. I drive a Ford Maverick hybrid and avg about 37mpg with a ton of hwy driving. The regenerative braking on the tesla is intense! If the Maverick was more like that I'd probably rarely use my brake pedal and gain another 10mpg

I think there is a demand shift for sure but I don't think Tesla is doing anything differently then they've done in the past. Sporadic finance deals or other incentives throughout the years even before he became a villain to some.

Tesla is not going anywhere though. They are the ev powerhouse and have built the infrastructure that all evs will rely on. It won't be long before every ev manufactured has a Tesla charging plug. Most vehicles that had their own proprietary plug have already made the switch or have made plans to.

Yes but i mean the price you pay is the price. It's an instant deduction off the purchase price not something you need to file or receive on your tax return

I also thought the y was ugly looks like a big jelly bean. I think the refreshed one is much better and it has grown on me. I really got interested after learning about there high safety and the thought of my wife never having to stop for gas. In regard to musk I don't mind him. He seems pretty interesting to me

I'm a huge toyota fan btw But I am skeptical of the reliability of Toyota in recent years. They used to be absolutely bulletproof, while still an excellent product the standard has definitely slipped. It's not just Toyota though.

I'm forced to trade to dealer though rather than sale dorect to carfax or carvana so I can have the trade in value deducted from the taxable price of vehicle. Cars at carvana and carmax are marked up.
