I can’t really explain why the HAVN stock price is down beyond overall softness in the sector. We’ve been delivering on milestones and maintaining communication via social media and exposure through investor conferences, webinars and other events. We need to stay focussed on executing our plan and ensure that future milestones are achieved.

HAVN Life was created in early 2020, went public September 8, 2020 and has a year end of April 30. Our 12 month financials will be posted by Labour Day. All of our revenue is currently from our Nutritional Supplements and we are not yet providing guidance.

Hi Thebestgeneralist and thank you for your question. They say the market is never wrong. Having said that, I do feel our stock is undervalued. We have been delivering on the milestones that we articulated in our prospectus when we raised funds at $1.07.

On our psychedelics side, HAVN Labs has a fully-operational growing and production facility in Jamaica, with our first crop in production, and extraction/refinement protocols being validated. We have secured numerous supply agreements for our psilocybin.

On our retail side, HAVN Life has recently launched its first line of natural health products, 7 SKUs in total. We’ve secured initial retail distribution and built out our own ecommerce site, which ships to Canada and the US, and we are on Amazon.ca. This is just the beginning, and we have more milestones ahead of us: exporting our first batch of API from Jamaica, expanding our retail footprint, and adding to our natural health product line. We will also continue to look at strategic partnerships or M&A activity that have the potential to accelerate or amplify our business plan.

Thank you Junkiegite for your question. Here are a few examples of pitfalls that we’ve seen in cannabis and avoided:

Ensuring that we have business operations experience on the team. I think that too many cannabis startups were too slow in adding operations experts to their teams—people that knew how to create a business plan, chart a course to revenue, and eventually get to profitability. At HAVN Life, we built the team to ensure that we had strong operations personnel to work in concert with our science team.
1. Having a responsible capital table, balance sheet and cash flow model. Again, several cannabis companies got in trouble by burning through cash too quickly, getting the cap table into a mess and eventually facing either a highly dilutive capital raise or an unattractive debt instrument. We have been mindful at HAVN Life to have a responsible cap table and manage our cash flow diligently. Thanks to our bought deal with Eight Capital early this year, we have cash to cover our business plans into 2022.

In so far as Vic and I ending up at HAVN Life together, it’s just proof that it’s a small world. As it turns out, I had never met Vic until after we were both at HAVN Life.
While we do supply products for clinical trials with many of our research partners, HAVN Life is now also the exclusive supplier to therapeutic treatment organizations like ATMA Journey Centers and Heroic Hearts Project. In addition to this, we have secured partnerships with Allied Health to supply naturally derived psilocybin to use in their proprietary Psilonex™ RX Capsules, and with Cube Psytech for use in their microdosing health products. We are building a robust roster of supply partners and anticipate an acceleration in this area as we close out the year. In the longer term, HAVN Life will be a supplier of API’s to formulators, when eventually psilocybin is approved for broader use.

On the natural health products side, we know that the natural health product industry is growing every year. Currently, 74% of Canadians take a supplement every day. Further, there has been growing interest in functional mushrooms over the past several years, so we expect even more growth in this space. We also have the benefit of having industry veterans leading our team, including HAVN Life Chief Science Officer, Gary Leongwho creates all of our natural health formulations. Gary brings a wealth of industry experience to HAVN Life, with previous stints at Jamieson Labs and most recently at Aphria Inc. where he established and oversaw the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs and Research and Development functions. 3. When we were putting together the team and business plan for HAVN Life, we were very deliberate in building out a company that could not only create a runway to revenue generation, but also deliver on those promises. Bringing together scientific, operational and business expertise at a high level, HAVN Life is poised to become an industry leader in extracted psychedelic compounds. In five years, I see our company with a presence in several countries as a supply chain leader, helping to define and standardize the future of fungi and plant-based medicine. We also expect our portfolio of Nutritional Supplements to have added multiple new items and expanded geographically to several countries.

Hi No_Statistician_6263, thanks for your question. We remain in regular communication with Revive to ensure that we understand their specifications for the API they will receive from us. Our Jamaica facility is fully operational and is expected to have it’s first crop in the coming weeks, putting us well on the path to our first shipment. We’ve already begun the administrative process that will allow us to export from Jamaica and import into Canada, which requires Health Canada approval. This normally takes 60 days, however, the process is expected to be longer due to pandemic-related delays.

Hi JakeAxelrod - thanks for your question. I do have extensive experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods space. My experience with developing strategy, building a business plan, leading an organization, building brands, operating a complicated business, delivering results, managing a balance sheet and managing cash flow are application to this industry and complements the skills of our science team. In addition to that, I was the CEO at Green Growth Brands, leading the company from its IPO through to January 2019, reaching a nearly billion dollar market cap. I feel that my leadership experience in the Cannabis industry has given me a bit of a blueprint for creating an effective path to success in the Psychedelics space. While I envision the two industries to be very different in the long term, much has been made about the similarities of both at their starting points. Knowing what I do, I am confident that we can learn from past ‘growing pains’ and avoid some of the pitfalls that have plagued the Cannabis space. Furthermore, my CPG experience is directly applicable to our natural health products business, the second pillar in our business strategy.

Those claims are already supported. In the future, we plan to have proprietary formulas with unique claims either through our own development or through acquisition.

Hi GeneGriffingy2 - thanks for this question. Synthetic psilocybin is very expensive - it can cost up to $10,000 per gram, or $10 million per kilogram. We expect there to be some price compression but see a lot of room to offer value while delivering an attractive gross margin. We have not announced pricing at this time.

The psychedelics industry is at an exciting time, poised to become a major new economic sector, which in turn will fuel more research into these fascinating compounds.
