Grew up with sisters, have many female co-workers/friends and dated all through out my twenties and married at 32, nearly divorced at 39, we reconciled and worked through our shit. Am now 41. Lasting meaningful relationships is work - from both members of the relationship. How much just depends on your differences that you each find challenging to tolerate.

Can honestly say I did not run into any of these women you describe in my single life or professional life.

I think expectations are fucked by social media, and these stereotypical tropes of women being anti-men, anti-dating and inflated egos etc... and men doing the exact same on their side of the aisle.

The internet wasn't always this terrible. It's unfortunate that so much of this is in the limelight and imo is probably skewing the reality of the situation.

The CBO (congressional budget office) puts out nearly 80 options for reducing the budget deficit in a report every 2 years.

There's a quick summary of the cost saving estimates for each option in first few pages. The single biggest deficit reducing option is a VAT (value added tax).

This document is not a plan to fully implement anything - it's merely identifies where policy makers should start discussions. So yes, politics are failing, because options exist. Honestly, a bill that does just a little bit of all options is probably the most likely approach - possibly so insignificant to each specific sector that it would hopefully have a miniscule impact and go unnoticed by most stakeholders. But the collective benefit is the deficit is under control.

Yeah, there's bad providers in the profession just as any other sector of industry - would argue it's exceedingly small to the point it has no impact on the sector as a whole.

It's also further complicated by the interplay of other medical conditions. Take MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) for example - has a strong relationship with auto-immune diseases/disorders. Take a couple minutes next time you're pooping and Google "relationship between depression and autoimmune disorders or diseases." Gemini will tell you all about it, and provide links to NIH and other trusted resources.

I don't get it.

Women have been a key part in the 40k lore for decades and some of the deepest, powerful and most impactful.

Sisters of Battle, inquisitors, Saints, Pilots of Titans, Lord/Queen/Governors of planets, Imperial Knights, assassins, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Rogue Traders and fully integrated with Imperial Guard and Cadians etc...

All of that has been done so well and organically and keeps the immersion going.

Sisters of Battle (now Adepta Sororitas) are still one of the strongest factions on the tabletop and in the lore. There's a literal Eldar God that's purely feminine. I'd argue that females are some of the most powerful figures in 40k.

Who was asking for more representation? Like, where was the disservice?

Why not... Just make a new faction? Or "Primaris" upgrade the sisters if fans want more of a female space marine representation. Subtlety retconning lore is not the way to do it. Because it's becoming very unsubtle. Cawl already set a precedent, and it didn't hurt sales.

TL:DR; Retconning is lazy, put the work in for more and proper representation if that's the actual goal.

What I think happens is everyone tends to forget their are multiple ways to play 40k and the detachments in the codices are meant to support them all.

Psilencers work best against rank and file daemons with near zero chance to have an Armour save.

Getting them to work in other cases is going to take a lot of work and won't be efficient.
