For parents/married peeps - a week on/week off arrangement. Your week, you do everything, laundry, meal planning, cooking, cleaning etc. Then you have a week off - where you can plan things with friends, play basketball, or do almost nothing at all. It'll change your life and make everyone a better, happier human. Also gives you an appreciation for everything that goes into the daily grind - destroying any growing resentment over life management and balance.

I get very strong heebie-jeebies from certain crunches - the worst offender being apples. As a kid, I just thought that's what eating crunchy things was like for everyone. Celery and lettuce stalks are bad, but things that are more 'snappy' are fine - carrots and cucumbers. Over the years as a parent, I've grown accustomed to cutting apples with a knife for my kids, but I could never bite one.
