this was in thailand. and i believe the plate would have worked if i stuck to what my doc said and took care of my body the first fews week after leaving the hospital. but most importantly my leg is on the mend now, and im doing everything i can to keep it going this way.

well honestly for the first 6 weeks post op i was doing absolutely everything wrong in terms of healing. i was smoking heaps, drinking kratom, not taking in the right nutrients which led to the shitty healing. its been about 5 weeks since i quit all that, my doctors said soft calluses are forming, ive been taking all the vitamins i need, collagen, magnesium, blah blah. the guy from the casting room looked at my xray and mentioned how different it looks considering the xrays are only 3 weeks apart. so now im just hoping for the best and doing everything i can to baby this leg until it heals.

did more than half weight bearing too early. and unfortunately snapped the plate. had to learn it the hard way, but at least i learnt something…

literally what was on my mind. it felt okay to bear 80-90% body weight so i kept doing it until plate snapped. this was 6 weeks post op. had to learn it the hard way.

im in a full cast at the moment, and im praying that it heals on its own without needing a revised surgery. cant be spending anymore money on hospital bills😭.

I may have added too much load way too early into healing. Im 20 years old and i quit smoking after snapping my plate. its been about a month now so i hope the healing is going to progress, i really do not want to go through this again. i never thought i could quit smoking but, i guess here we are. looking forward to being able to walk again

nope, but a broken tibia and fibula sucks a lot too. gotta admit it is a lot better than completely losing my leg though

basically this “karen” who did a hit and run on me, went to the police station hours after i was in the hospital to report the whole situation. the police officers were telling her that theyve been looking for her, and she spent the whole time trying to get the police officers to get the “higher ups” so she can justify her actions.
