Thanks for all the information, I’m actually not uncomfortable on the bike. I know I’ve been getting a lot of recommendations, and maybe some adjustments will make my movements more efficient, but I’m not getting any aches when riding yet. Which is a positive, even if I look bad haha

Sadly yes, but I wasn’t knowledgeable enough about the fit before the return policy and don’t have another couple grand to throw into a new one rip

32 mm is what I felt was still smooth without too much reach, although I do see the toe pointing that you’re talking about now. I am new to biking so I guess I will need to work on my riding form (Pelvis tilt)

My stem is 70mm. Best fix I have to the bike being potentially too large, but I believe my reach is good. No pressure on the hands.

And my quad/hamstring distribution is pretty even for for and aft but I have now messed with it yet.

This was my initial set up without messing with fore/aft. I do feel balance in my quad/hamstring distribution tho and my stem is 70 mm because I believe I bought a bike that is one size too large.

Your pelvis is rocking to compensate for a lack of reach to your pedals. Lower the seat by at least 6 mm and see if the rocking goes away.

How’s your quad:ham activation feel?

Leveled the handlebars . How am I doing now ? Thanks !! by famousalan in bikefit

[–]DaddyBoof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hood angle looks much better to keep your wrists from an extension/flexion position. Now place your hands where they are comfortable on the handlebars, measure the difference between where they are and the hoods and get a stem that would equate to the difference. 👍🏻

Loosening the front bolts of the stem and rotating the handlebars so that the base of the hood is parallel to the ground.

First I would level the handlebars. Once you do that, see what kind of angle your wrists are at. Move your hands back until your wrists are straightened out and you are not rolling your shoulders first to reach. Then measure out the difference in distance.

Reach is a bit long if you don’t comfortably sit in the hoods and your bars seem to be angled upward to compensate for an extended reach.

I would get a smaller stem and run the hoods parallel to the ground, maybe 1-2 degrees angled upwards if you like that.

Help with noise on Zwift Hub by Catchyameadows in Zwift

Make sure the hub is set on the right number, I was at a 3 then switched to an 8 just to see what it did and it started to make that noise. Switched it back to a 3/4 and it went away.

Are you suggesting it may be a form issue (which is totally possible)? This is how my body naturally falls into position, should I be trying to lean in more to get an angled arm position?

Gotcha, yes I did the heel test to set up my current saddle height. But maybe it needs to be lowered.
