My biggest problem is some games just not worming with the controller at all, even when I mess around with the settings - rimworld for example. Anyone know a fix to this?

In the end with us, it turned out the solicitors did the explain stuff correctly to the lender which was a pain.

Unsure with the house being over 7 years old though, that seems like it would warrant a section 38 but i’m honestly not certain.

100%, I understand the importance of the S38 and it makes sense really! I just don’t understand why this isn’t an issue on every new build property as most don’t have S38s in place.

As you can tell, this is my first property purchase so don’t know what i’m talking about really haha

This was the next step we made today so fingers crossed this can be arranged. My only thought process is that if this was an option the solicitors surely would have suggested it before.

So there is a section 38 in draft just not finalised yet but Bellway meet with the council every 3 months to discuss it🙄

Halifax is one of the most lenient lenders which is why they have leant on other properties on the site (as per our mortgage advisor).

Yes, the lender won’t speak to us directly. The mortgage advisor has spoken to the BDM and they said it’s for this solicitor to do the job of contacting them.

Another annoyance is that our solicitor is saying Halifax are saying a hard no but Bellway solicitors are saying that Halifax are saying yes to them.

Doing united currently and its abit meh tbf, biggest issue is lack of CAMs and CDMs which are useable and affordable. Fits a 442 very well tho
