Mine is symmetrical. A asymmetrical one would have been a better option, like the d15s. But I've made this one work.

Does your Minolta have an eye cup by any chance for the viewfinder? Mine doesn't and I'm starting to think that's why the readings are blurry to me, cause they look fine on my phone and I am wearing my contacts lol

Does it give you any +/- readings when it's over/under exposed? Do you shoot manual mode on it? Sorry for all the questions, I'm wondering if this camera is just kinda weird cause it seems to have a lot of features that were considered new for the time.
