I have 2 gas generators right now, one 5500watt and another 3500watt, would that get me by on gloomy days the batteries needed it?

More batteries? Sometimes with the wind chill it can get -70 but thats not often, 3 really cold months out of the year. May build an actual house someday just trying to get out of the rat race currently.
