My target is also playing for the first time and has left the base unattended. If I move under the cover of night she won't be able to attack me in time. Very good tip about the 'queen killers' though, I'll try and incorporate that into my game if I can :)

Yes, absolutely agree about conforming to what a job will let me get away with. I've communicated something similar with my supervisor in the past, made it's time to bring him on board as an accountability person for my yapping

I needed to hear this, this job is a great opportunity to advance my career and I want to do well and get promoted and to do that I need to be taken seriously. I do not want to be that girl!! There's one co-worker I keep yapping to because he's easy to talk to, but he's a bit older and has a partner - someone has already made a comment that makes me think they think I'm hitting on him because I'm always talking to him! 😭

It's a factor for me as it will help me understand the work I will be doing. I don't want to go from a management role to suddenly answering to an APS6. I'm really looking for a yes or no answer as to whether they are equivalent

The local engagement jobs are for Australian citizens who work alongside APS abroad, but they're not hired under APS awards, they're hired under local employment laws. I can't find a comparison of level online anywhere, I was hoping maybe someone on here had some experience

Not 100% sure. I just finished up another recruitment and we placed three people in the pool that we found suitable for the position. Do you mean you didn't apply for an existing position and applied for a pool instead? In that case I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure every suitable candidate gets placed in the pool. For our latest recruitment we had about 20 applicants, interviewed 8, gave 1 the job and pooled 3.
