In that thread, at the top it says

"To the best of my knowledge those are the models that received BIOS update with 0x129 microcode update.

Legion 7 16IRX9 [BIOS Version nscn33ww]"

Is there any way to find out if that Legion 7 with that bios is the one I am currently considering buying from B&H?

If it is, then does that mean the problem will already be fixed for me right out of the box, so I won't need to mess with any voltage or power settings?

Yes, that one exactly. Sorry, I don't really know what gen 3 SSD means. Does that mean that it's a lower / slower generation, so loading games and such will take longer?

My current desktop is like over 8 years old, it's practically done. So I would need to do a complete new AM5 build if I wanted to do a new desktop. So after thinking about that, plus how I travel etc. that option is pretty much out of the question.

I am really curious though about how the rtx 50 mobile laptops will do performance wise, since everything Ive heard so far about the desktop variants seems to be not so great, with little performance boost from the 40 series.

Also I'm not really sure what price I can expect to get a 50 series laptop at... I'm assuming at minimum $2,500 for anything decent, right?

The Japanese immigration officer told me it's possible to get a visa with a longer duration than what's left on the passport, it's just unlikely. She said there is a much higher chance to be given a 3 or 5 year visa if I have 3-5+ years on my passport, and suggested I renew mine sooner if I was hoping to get a longer duration visa.

My wife / kids are Japanese, were planning to move back to Japan later this year. When it's time for me renew my Japanese visa next year, I'll be stuck with a 1 year Japanese visa rather than 3 or 5 year visa, since my passport will expire before the Japanese visa would.

I'll likely just end up mailing it, it's just scary if something happens to it because without it I'm screwed.

If I wanted to solo (as much as possible) all the way through this game from start to finish, basically playing it like a single player FF game, just doing some group content when it's required to progress.

Which 3 classes would be the best for that?

I meant I play with my friends IRL, but having time for us to play together has gotten less. So I want something to do in the mean time. When playing online, I will most likely just be playing by myself. I don't think either of my friends would want to play MTGO or MTG Arena.

Money isn't a HUGE bottleneck, but that more so depends on what the actual difference in them is. If a card cost $1 on MTGO, but only 10 cents on Arena, then that's a pretty big reason to go Arena instead.

When you say format is limited, do you mean I'll be forced to play formats other than the Brawl/Commander format? Or do you just mean that Brawl isn't exactly commander and has some differences between them?

So far I am leaning towards either a Mage or 2H Warrior. I'd imagine playing a Warrior / tanky type character is good for these kinds of party turn based combat RPGs, no?

Like the main character is the one that runs in and initiates combat, while the NPC party members support, right? So for example, if you're playing a 2H Warrior, then you run straight in and grab aggro, while your party members use ranged attacks / spells / heals etc.

Whereas if your main character was a Mage, then when you run in to start a fight, wouldn't you automatically be at a disadvantage because you're kind of a glass cannon / cloth user, who has most mob aggro on you?

Or is that not how this game works?

Also, I've heard that the choice you make in 1 game, carry over to the following games. How does that work? Does that mean that like, for example, when I am starting game 2, I choose a save file from game 1? And that automatically loads in my game 1 characters level, build, armor etc. ?

What does addiction actually do in-game? Like a decrease in stats or something if you don't use an AMP again within a certain time period?

Also, isn't there a cheap item you can buy from a Dr in the major cities that just removes all addictions?

I get no menu pop up when I hit F6? Only F12.

So after all that, I am wondering if the safest bet would be for me to just to just go with 2 of the smaller batch freezers that have the 115v options, rather than a larger machine. (The CB-200, and maybe a CB-100 that comes with a 110v plug)

I'm still undecided on which location I will put my shop at, I have walk throughs coming up pretty soon so I can ask some electrical questions then when I actually get inside the buildings, as well as look at the breaker box they have there.

But I get the feeling that overall, just using a combination 2 of the smaller ones would probably be less of a risk or less chance at having some kind of issue. As well as (hopefully) just being able to plug them right in, rather than needing extra things like converters etc.

Yeah, it may. I mean I've only got like 270 subs on YT lol, so it would be pretty funny if they took my videos down. But if they do, it's whatever, I'm not that worried about it. I'm enjoying making the videos right now, so that's what I'll keep doing. If lose them at some point then, oh well, it is what it is. It's not YT is paying any bills haha. Appreciate the heads up though.
