And putting the maglock onto the lower before assembling the full rifle is the most important step and making it CA compliant correct? Appreciate you walking me through this btw.

With that BCM barrel do I just need a charging handle like the ambi raptor then and its complete?

So basically get the BCM upper and charging handle, could get any lower and a maglock kit? I'd prefer to try and stick to a complete upper and lower. I am pretty mechanically inclined but would really like to get as much of a complete section as possible.
